My version of SM3. A mixed movie version and, well, what I think would look better (but anyway, trying to put THREE villains in one movie is actually really a pain in the butt). Feedback's welcome...
1. The beginning, is, well, pretty much like the movie. Peter tells how his life is good and etc. and etc, but there are still some problems. Gwen isn't introduced as someone Peter knows, she doesn't study with him.
2. Mary Jane at the play scene. Peter talks with Harry, they argue. Then Peter talks with MJ, tells her she was great and etc. and etc.
3. Harry is seen in the Goblin lair, talking with his dad. He then finally decides to take the serum.
4. Peter talks with MJ in the park, but there's NO meteors landing anywhere. And no symbiote crawling anywhere. BUT. We do see after that a scene on Moon or on Mars where JJJ's son take some ooze or something, puts it in a jar and says that they're going back to Earth.
5. Flint Marko visits his daughter, tells that he promises to bring money to cure her. Well, like in the movie.
6. Some pepole may notice that I liked very much the beginning of the movie. Yeah, I actually did. So the Aunt May scene where she gives her ring to Peter remains the same.
7. Peter rides home, Harry catches him. They battle, boom, blow, Harry falls. Peter gets him to the hospital.
8. Marko becoming Sandman. But no mention that he is the killer of Unlce Ben (he isn't one in my version), and also a small scene where the police talks to the scientists, where some more information about the experiment and what it actually does is given, and what could be the effects.
9. Peter is told that Harry is in a coma, it may last several days. MJ comes, says she'll stay with Harry. Peter's like, fine, ok.
10. Materialization of Sandman. That was a beautiful scene in the movie, and very emotional, IMO.
11. Well, I think that Ursula needs at least SOME purpose other than show some kindness to Peter. So in this scene where Peter goes to his apartment he meets Ursula. She asks how the things are going. Peter thinks a little (he just came from hospital), and says fine, I guess. How's MJ? Peter suddenly remembers something, gets his hand into his pocket, nothing. Then gets his hand into another pocket, and gets his ring. Phew, it's there. Ursula is like hyped and happy that Peter's going to propose to MJ. She says about a wonderful restaurant and says that she can make her dad (this Ditkcovich guy (that’s his name, right?) is her dad, I assume) to take some reservation for a table (well, come on. This Ditkcovich guy can get anything from anyone, and there's at least some purpose in that guy too other than he reminds Peter that Peter's still poor and can't pay the rent every now and then). Peter's like, thanks, gets in the apartment. Sees a photo. There's him, Harry, and MJ. Peter calls MJ and asks how's Harry. She says fine for now. Peter hears on a radio (a normal radio) about how JJJ's son will soon return to Earth. Suddenly gets a call from JJJ. Peter's like, congratulations! But JJJ: Parker! Photos of my son and the shuttle! This is the first shuttle to land on a public airport! Now!
12. Peter gets to this airport. There's a lot of people there. Peter stops near Eddie. Eddie's like: hey, you're this Peter Parker guy, right? Yeah. And who are you? Edward Brock Jr. The new photographer at the Daily Bugle. Ah, nice to meet you. Yeah. Ok. Good. Fine. The people see a shuttle in the distance. Now, we see the interior, and... holy ****. The ooze breaks looze. It wants to take over John's son! Ahhh! There's malfunction in the controls! Aaaaah!!!! But no worries, since we see a shot where Eddie turns around and sees that Peter has disappeared, we know that... that's right! He comes in his Spider-Man suit and saves the day! Some ooze, though, gets on the shoe of his Spider-Man costume. Eddie makes some photos of Spider-Man and also tells that Parker is a crappy photographer. Yeah, right.
13. Harry wakes up. He DOESN'T have amnesia. Has a kind of friendly chat with MJ for a bit.
14. Talk at the Bugle. JJJ’s like, they say that Spider-man saved my son and they want to give him a key to the city. Peter’s like: what?! Is that for real?! Cool! But then again a bit of talk, and JJJ’s still convinced that Spidey’s a criminal. And there’s all this job stuff, so whoever (Eddie or Peter) will bring the photos of Spider-Man doing crime will have a full-payed-time-job at the Bugle.
15. Peter gets to Harry to the hospital. MJ’s like, well, guys, I’ll leave you (of course she knows that they have some argument between each other). Harry and Peter talk, but, well, Harry still hates Peter. Maybe, if someone would like, there could be some comedic element that there’s all these doctors going there and there, and when they’re near, the pair suddenly changes it’s talk to a friendly talk about the school days or something. Peter then, saddened, leaves.
16. A scene with Eddie and Gwen. We see that at least Eddie has a crush on Gwen, maybe he’s photographing her. Like yeah, cool, and etc. They’re walking through the streets, and so and so. We see how Sandman steals an armored truck (full with money, you know), and kind of rides with it away. No sandstorm part here… well, yet. And then Spider-Man goes after it, some kind of chase, and Spider-Man confronts Flint Marko. Sandman kicks his butt and actually leaves with the money, but Spider-Man still has some people to save. So he does.
17. Sandman comes to his family with money. His wife is like, WTF?! They are stolen and so and so. But Sandman: what is more important for you: the life of our daughter or the fact that I’m a criminal? Sandman says that it’s only a half though. The other one will be brought later. He puts the money and leaves.
18. Peter, exhausted, gets to his apartment. On his way he meets someone (either this Ditkovich guy or Ursula) and receives the invitations to that restoraunt. Peter’s like, thanks. Barely takes out his clothes in his apartment, and just crushes on the bed. Scene as the symbiote is taking over him, and… he wakes up hanging upside down. Makes a ride to test his new powers, and, like, cool. But what is this suit?
19. At his apartment, this morning, he does some stuff with the suit. The mask, to be certain. He wants to rip a piece of cloth from it, but while he does, the mask like… wants to regenerate… WTF?! Now here’s the scene where MJ comes with that bad review stuff. Peter’s like, so? Don’t look at them. While I was Spider-Man many people were writing some crap about me, but you see, I’m alive. But MJ starts with this stuff that she’s not Spider-Man and so, and so. Peter invites her to the restaurant.
20. Peter (as Peter) gives a piece of the symbiote to Dr. Connors. Connors says that he’ll look at this stuff.
21. At the hospital, a doctor says that Harry’s recovered. The doctor is even surprised, barely someone recovers so fast from such a wound (but of course, he doesn’t know that Harry has this serum). So yeah, harry leaves. On his way he sees a message about Spider-Man taking the key to the city.
22. MJ’s walking through the street, sees like everyone’s in Spidey costumes, there are all messages around how Spider-Man is cool and so and so. Meets with Peter, they talk, Peter leaves, and then she sees Harry. Harry! You’re fine! Oh, so here comes Spider-Man (in the new black costume), everybody, like, cheers, there’s this random woman who talks abut Spider-Man, as he hangs upside down. Spidey’s like, come on, kiss me, they’ll like it. Yeah, they all did, except MJ, who just freaked out as soon as this happened. Harry followed her.
23. Later this day, MJ comes to rehearsal, and learns that she doesn’t sing anymore. Like, everybody says she’s bad.
24. The restaurant scene. Everything’s like almost the same like in the movie, except there’s no Gwen here. And MJ freaks out because she asks Peter: did he even know that woman? Did he even ever saved her at least? And Peter’s like, does that mean anything? Well, to MJ yes. She leaves. Peter’s like wants to follow her, exits, and… there’s no MJ. Peter clutches his hand. Suddenly, an alarm raises nearby. Someone robs the jewelry store. Black Spider-Man comes. So, you, thugo. Wanna some jewels, huh? Wanna some rings, huh? Wanna make a proposal, huh? Spidey throws him around till the guy like can’t move, he’s freaked out and in blood and pleads to stop. Spider-Man then for a sudden thinks my… I need to cool off a bit. Personal life disappointments don’t need to get into the Spider-Man life. Black screen.
25. Not black screen. MJ calls Harry, like, they need to talk. There’s this scene at Harry’s home, which was in the movie, and MJ says Harry that several days have passed and Peter didn’t even ask MJ how the things are going, how’s the theatre and other stuff. Heck, he didn’t call MJ at all. Then after some talk Harry and MJ kiss each other….
26. We see Peter going through the streets (walking normally), and he kind of notices the other pretty womens’ butts. Enters the Bugle. Sees Brock. Hey, what are these photos? Give ‘em to me? Hey, who’s this? Oh, your girl-friend. She’s pretty. Wait, wait. I’ll give them back to you, don’t worry. Oh, that’s for her birthday. And what’s in the other pal? Oh, thanks, now I know where the birthday will be celebrated. Thanks, pal, I’ll be there, don’t worry. Cause this sounds fun.
27. Later Peter gets a call from MJ. Who’s that? Oh, MJ. Ohhhh, MJ!!! Yeah, I wanted to call you, but… meet? Ok. Where? Fine.
28. Peter and MJ meet at the park. MJ tells everything about her problems with Peter, about the fact that he’s never near, and so and so. She says she can’t live like that. She needs to think about everything. Peter’s like, what, but, uhm, how?! And then: fine. I’ll find a girl who can live up with my lifestyle. MJ started to cry, and leaves.
29. Now, here we add the street montage that was in the movie. Yeah, I thought that scene was perfectly fine. Besides it was short, showed that Peter doesn’t care about MJ now anyway, and had some funny moments with JJJ and the legs on the table. Keep the Betty stuff too. Oh, and one thing, when Robbie looks at the photos, there’s like a small scene, which then, poof, transforms into a static photo in Robbie’s hand. So to add some action. Peter changes his suit.
30. Harry helps MJ in finding some job. There’s this jazz club, there is needed a waiter/singer. MJ fits just fine, she can work there for some time. MJ thanks Harry.
31. Phone talk with Dr. Connors, when Peter receives more information about the suit. No, Doc, of course I didn’t leave some things to myself. But also Connors says something about it’s regenerative capabilities, and even this substance can be used to cure people if done right (Lizard in SM4, anyone?). Ah, yeah, thanks, Ursula. I’ll be going now. Gets into his apartment, and hears a message about a robbery and a sandstorm.
32. Spidey arrives at the place, well, you know the scene with Brock coming there, Peter breaking Brock’s camera, going into the subway and Brock starts photographing the place of crime. Peter’s like says to Sandman: I’m getting tired of you. In the end, when Spider starts to open that cover so to release water on Sandman, Sandy’s like, please, you’ve got to understand! Shows the amulet with the pic of his daughter, tells the story, but Spidey’s like, meh. You could lie better at least. Water’s released. Bye-bye!
33. Peter comes back to his apartment. Has some argument with this Ditkovich guy, yells at him, breaks the door when he tries to open it, and such. Then he suddenly remembers Connors’ talk about the suit making his host angrier. Peter looks in the mirror… looks in the mirror… looks in the mirror… nothing. Meh, no bad-Venom stuff in there. Everything’s perfect.
34. Next morning. Peter sees a photo of Spider-Man doing bad things. Comes to Brock, and etc. and etc., reveals everything about fake photos and the church line. So JJJ’s like: Brock! You’re fired! Parker! You’re hired!
35. Peter comes to Gwen’s party. Brock’s like, no, no, no, but… Well, you know symbiote Peter. One word, two words, and so it ends with Peter leaving together with Gwen and Brock remaining totally humiliated and everybody’s laughing at him.
36. At Harry’s. MJ was there, and says like, I’ve got to get to work. See you later! Harry’s like too: bye! Then it’s his dad hallucination again. But Harry says: no dad. I love her.
37. Jazz club scene. Without Peter’s dancing part, though. Since Gwen doesn’t know that Mary Jane’s like Peter’s ex-girlfriend, everythings fine. Peter even infront of Mary Jane even makes a proposal to Gwen and gives her the ring. Gwen’s like, oh Peter!
38. Brock’s alone. Drinking some beer. The last friend from the party says: bye. And leaves. Brock is sitting alone. Goes away. He then meets Gwen. Starts to talk to her, but Gwen says about the proposal Peter made. Shows the ring. Brock’s like: WHAT?! And you accepted?! I’m doomed! And humiliated again, leaves…
39. A construction site (day). Three thugs hanging upside down. You won’t leave us here, Spider-Man, won’t you? But Spidey’s like: sorry guys. I have another place to attend to.
40. Peter’s walking with Gwen, Brock’s following them. Suddenly, Peter sees… MJ hanging out with Harry. WHAT?! MJ with Harry?! Peter’s like, slowly takes the ring from Gwen’s finger, pushes Gwen away a bit, and goes to that pair. Brock tries then to talk with Gwen, but Gwen’s like **** off. Peter talks with harry and MJ. Yeah, MJ is like Harry’s girl now.
41. It’s night now. A scene where we see Sandman making himself again. He starts searching for this amulet with the photo of his daughter and finds it.
42. Peter comes to Harry’s apartment. Practically they fight, but right now because Harry REALLY was near MJ when Peter wasn’t, not because he was framing or something. They fight, and in the end Peter leaves. With Harry being blowed up.
43. At the jazz club, MJ tries to call Harry, but he doesn’t answer. Then Peter shows up. Starts to yell at MJ. Throws the bouncers aside, continues to argue with MJ, then punches her. MJ’s on the floor, Peter looks at her. Then suddenly remember Harry. Oh my god, Harry! MJ! What am I doing?!
44. Peter flies through the city. Lands on a building, sees on a window a reflection of himself, which suddenly for a moment transforms into Venom. Peter’s like, yikes! Goes to the church, there’s Brock, rips off the suit, Brock receives it and such.
45. Peter at the apartment. Washes himself. Then goes to the Ditkovich guy, says he’s sorry, and gives the payment. Gets back into the apartment, then May comes in, there’s this talk with her.
46. We see a shadow flying through the city. The shadow lands. And starts to talk. Like, yeah, this is cool. What? You hate Parker cause he rejected you? I hate him too. He fully has broken my life. What information? Ah, interesting…
47. The scene where Peter’s going through the streets, then leaves.
48. In the park. There’s Marko’s wife with Penny. Come on daughter, it’s late now. We need to go home. Ok, ma, I’m going. Sandman’s watching over them. Then hears someone’s voice. A nice kid, I see. Marko: What do you want? Venom: Well, you see, there’s this thing. You want to kill the Spider-Man, I want to kill Spider-Man. Marko: I don’t want to kill him. I don’t want to kill anybody. I just want to help my daughter. Venom: Ah, you see… there’s this thing. If you won’t agree to help me in killing the spider, then your daughter will be the first one to dire from my hands… Marko: ……….. Fine. I’m in.
49. MJ gets a cab, gots captured, and etc. and etc. Alright, the reporters were VERY annoying. But maybe just showing Venom’s message in the TV will be just fine.
50. Peter goes to Harry. But Harry just is silent. Peter leaves. Harry’s talking with his dad again. His dad is like: he took away me from you. He wanted to kill you. And you called him your best friend. Harry looks at his dad: I… don’t know… Norman then finally sighs: Then do what you think is right. Harry gets to the hideout, and takes another portion of serum.
51. Battle Royale. Harry arrives to help, and etc, and etc. The rest is pretty much the same like in the movie, only if Venom HAS to die, he better die like he does in the game. Oh, and there’s this scene with Marko’s wife and daughter coming to the construction. Harry dies, then the funeral, then MJ forgives Peter (in fact, everybody’s like forgiving everybody) and you know. The End.
So… what do you think? Yeah, maybe it’s not the best thing, but then again. Three villains in ONE movie… this is not a game…
