Whew, excellent stuff. Heck of a midseason finale. Big time. I love how organized Magneto was. Take out the X-men. Take out the MRD. Send in Juggernaut to get Tildie out to wreak massive havoc. Vintage Magneto.
Tension between Wolverine and Rogue was great. Interesting curveball that Rogue was playing a ruse on the Brotherhood all along to find out what they were up to. So all that residual anger wasn't directed at the X-men. It was directed at Logan . . . who she desperately wants to jump.
More of Kitty and Bobby making cow eyes, and poor Bobby failing at asking her out. Don't worry Bobby, you'll figure it out.
I'm sure Dread is going to love how Wolverine is in rallying the troops mode while Cyclops is lounging in the living room not paying mind to Rogue's info.
A ton of great cameos in this episode. Besides Juggernaut we also got BLINK!
Climax was very well done especially with Rogue's technique which proves that Rogue is a smart, cunning fighter even without the flying or Ms. Marvel powers. Rogue redeeming herself in this episode was totally awesome.
I was happy that the X-men had to deal with things without Xavier's advice, and how by the end pretty much everything they are trying to avoid looks to be happening. Wolverine feels like a failure and Xavier just says well you got the school and the students back and you saved a life so its all OK. I think that's the hope that's important about these characters. Wolverine despite what he's been through is someone that still believes in hope even if it's a fool's hope.
I like the character they've made Domino into. Domino isn't a wicked person, she's just taken what she believes to be the winning side. It's wrong that she'd be willing to wipe out humanity, but she feels as if mutantkind has been backed into a corner and has no choice. Domino isn't evil for believing in Magneto's cause, she just thinks it's the only way.
Sentinels are coming! Woo baby!
