Alright, I know there are many many (many) fans who are down on Wolverine (hey, it's not Logan's fault for being so popular or the fact that Marvel tries to do everything they can to get cashola out of him) but, hey he is still my favorite hero and I have not seen an Origin's thread.....so.....
Bottom line is the Origins is not what it should be. Period. Way and Dillon have missed the mark big time.....but, again, if I miss an issue I would be wondering if I missed anything. So I am starting late in the game but here is some stuff on issue #9 of Origins:

So overall it was much better than the previous 8 issues and worth at least a look at.

Really liked the
Wolverine/Black Widow stuff. They finally got some back stuff right this time. Liked the whole training thing and the way it ended. Good stuff....finally.
Basically Wolverine and Black Widow go over why Logan is there, to get the Carbonadium Synthesizer, and Natalia locked it up in a safe-deposit box in Brussels.
Omega Red needs it because he is being poisend by the carbonadium and needs a fresh supply.
They do a flash back scene where a guy named Taras Romanov saves Logan and Natalia and takes Logan in and trains him to know what Taras knows about being a spy. Meanwhile Logan is training Natalia on the side because he feels bad for her. Her "dad" treats her like a possesion and not a daughter.
So Taras hears a noise, goes and tells Wolverine that Natalia is missing and Logan, well, shoots him. Natalia is in the woods and Logan tells her that his job was to learn all he could, then off Taras. Taras was not her biological father and Logan tells her he is sorry for lying to her. She thanks him (she wanted to get out of there) and tells him she owes him a great debt.
Black Widow told SHIELD that Logan is where Omega Red actually is and they attack him and they show Jubilee under some debries.
Logan pops up on the other building top and lifts up the fake Carb synt and Dum Dum Dugan and Omega Red stare him down.
