the bots are sort of starting to make sense given the topic of the post/thread. they really are evolving!

Yep, maybe next time it will make a little more sense. Seriously....." it's just that for the first time in ten years is nothing new seems to look to the future"....What does that even mean?!

I really miss it as well. It's crazy how much this TV show has really drawn me in. I was never a fan of television dramas until this show. Does anybody know if there are any reruns of this show on dish tv 's package? I am looking into changing providers.

Before, the bots would just advertise whatever they were sent to advertise. Now, they are at least trying to post words related to the thread topic before advertising. That's a lot of improvement IMO.

You sort of missed the point. Whether it ended well or not is irrelevant, it's just the fact that for the first time in a decade there's no new shows to look forward to.

I didn't miss the point at all. We just disagree.

We are so on the path to SkyNet....

Not really. I stated that I missed the show. Your point was that it ended well, so you were happy, to which I said regardless of how it ended I still miss the routine of watching the show on a weekly basis.

Yes, exactly. I don't miss it because of my satisfaction with how it ended. I don't miss new episodes because I can always go back and relive all the episodes.

We are allowed to disagree in how we feel about the show without you discounting my opinion.

If only we had something to replace it with. Honestly, by the end of Smallville I was so tired with The New Adventures of Lois and Clark

That's very interesting. I loved that era of Smallville. :woot:

I kinda miss it a bit. After watching it for 10 years, it became a habit of sorts and was a bit strange when there was no Season 11 in the last few weeks.

But nonetheless, all good things must come to an end. Plenty of new shows which are very good:

Plus, we have S2 of the Walking Dead coming soon.

I've also finally got round to watching Game Of Thrones (Season 1) which was fantastic, I wish now it hadn't take me so long to get round to watching it. It has me amped for Season 2.

It feels odd without it on the air, but all the same I'm glad it got the run, that it did. Considering the majority of my other favorite sci-fi shows usually get cancelled at the mere drop of the hat.

What I miss is having someting to looke forward to on broadcast TV (I don't watch cable at all). I'm a Chuck fan, so I'm looking foreward to Chuck's final season when It eventually starts, but when it ends, what then? I though The Cape was fantastic and was disappointed that show didnt get past one season.
Eventually I'll be disappointed there's no good new stuff on DVD.
Sigh.

I'm going to be really excited to see Smallville on TNT at 12 p.m. but I'll also be depressed that I'm home in the middle of the day unemployed...

No way, me too:woot:. I can't wait till Chuck comes on but then again it's over this year so I don't know what will replace Chuck on Friday nights. It' just isn't the same this year with out SV. I still watch Supernatural but I'm not into as much as I once was. As I said before on here SV was the one thing I had to look foward to no matter how good or bad the week was going.

As for the renumbering of the DC comics, I don't like it at all. I see no point in renumbering a comic(or comics) that has been in continuous production for around 70 years. I think having comics that have 700 -900 issues should be a badge of honour. I just can't see being more excited about Action Comics number 1(unless it's the original #1) than number 901(I know it ended with #904, just using #901 for my argument). Rant over.

i don't miss it as much now. i look forward to the new hulk series next year and being human coming back on this winter.

I miss Smallville...........but I'm glad its over at the same time, with the ending they gave us, I'm glad cause at that moment I knew the producers didnt give a **** about the fans, we waited 10 years to see him in the suit and they let us down, no point supporting ppl who dont give a **** about you to start with, just trying to cash in on the Superman name.........and this is coming from someone who supported Smallville for every season, every episode, every ****ed up change they did.

The ten year anniversary of the start of Smallville, and the one year anniversary of the 200th episode, and no one's paying attention? Really, people?

Sure we didn't get alot of superman in finale. But it doesn't mean they shafted us all this time. The point of the show was the journey clark too to become superman.

Haven't posted in a while, but thought I'd drop in just to agree with Hulkster. It didn't quite hit me how much I missed this show until the time came that I would have been watching the premier of the new season. Now I really miss my Smallville peeps. :(

Smallville is sure missed. There's a bunch a new shows I'm watching this season but Smallville's absence is felt big time. This show was one of a kind. Sure, its writing often left a lot to be desired, so did the production values(thanks to CW of course) but it had the "it factor" so to speak. No other show has ever been that compelling to me whether I loved or hated what happened in it.

I lost Smallville this year. Now I'll be losing Chuck and Eureka this coming season.

I'm losing all of my shows. :waa:

I'm REALLY hoping the show lands up on Netflix streaming soon. They just made a deal with the CW that would allow all their shows in the 2011-2012 season to be on Netflix. Sadly, Smallville just missed it. I think it would require a new deal with Warner Brothers to get Smallville on Netflix streaming. It would be great to have all 10 seasons in one place. I wouldn't even have to get the complete series on DVD then!
