Apocalypse Olivia Munn IS Psylocke! - Part 1

Gamora is apparently the most dangerous woman in the Universe. I have high hopes that she will live up to that name in Guardians 2, because she certainly didn't in the first one.

She surely did not that movie showed her as nothing at all. I heard she was the most dangerous woman but so far Psylocke has her beat just from a trailer lol.

I haven't ever viewed Gamora as a high-tier character in terms of power level, nor do I think she's meant to be, even with the upgrades she's gotten over the years. So I can't say I was really displeased with her showings in GOTG.

And isn't that title something she gave herself anyway?

She probably did, I never heard of her until the movie came out and then she seemed like she just was very basic nothing special.

A bit off topic for this thread, but now that you're talking about the future of X-Women in the franchise, would you guys be interested in seeing Paquin as a comic-accurate Rogue in Wolverine 3?

What I'd like is for Wolverine 3 to contain no references to DoFP so I can pretend it follows from The Wolverine. If that were the case, I'd like to see Rogue and/or Yukio in it, but they'd have to be consistent with their previous roles (but it would be nice to see Rogue really using her powers).

If it blatantly follows from DoFP, then it doesn't matter to me too much what they do in that regard. I don't read the comics.

I don't know, for me, Gamora stood out as the only quick-witted character in the gang, which is in itself a big plus.

But Fox will probably make Psylocke a vicious femme fatale, seeing how she may be the new Rebecca Romijn.

Just unbelievable. After the X3 attempt I thought Fox just didn't really get Psylocke's look but looks like they really do get it!

Eh, I really don't like that costume. It might superficially look like the comic one, but the material... the chestplate... the random boob window... it's quite ugly imho.

It's a little distracting that close up but I still love it. I'm ready to see it in action.

Ermm... oh well you can't please everyone. Idl the boob window either but it is as some have stated one of the best adapted superhero costumes ever.

Well... yeah, "ugly" might be too strong of a word. I don't hate it, and I can see why so many people would like it, but personally I just feel that it could've been executed a lot better.

Maybe I'm just an hard to please grump, who knows. Olivia Munn definitely looks great wearing it, so there's that.

She was more like Galaxy's next sweetheart. Her sister looked even more dangerous.

You do know that X-Force wears black costumes?

And Psylocke's costume could be easily changed into black and it would not feel like such a big change for a costume.

People stress far too much about her costume being black. As i remember when she was on X-Force her costume indeed was black and her more current one is too.

I used to have an action figure just like that when I was like 7, blade and everything. I also had a Rogue one with a removable jacket and a Gambit one (I can't remember if the coat was removable, I think it was).

I want to see it in action, too, but I'd also lose the boob window and turn all of her hair purple instead of the highlights/clip-ins. Totally minor complaints, but yeah, she's pretty close to perfect.
