They were so far off the mark first time that I'd given up hope of ever seeing anything like this. There's already enough awesome shots of her that I'll be super-happy even if there is no more of her in the film, but obviously I'll take as much as I can get. Really hope she returns for future films somehow.

The costume translated really well on-screen. I'm one who would've supported a black costume, but I think having it blue really makes it pop without being too much, and I'm so glad Olivia's input was taken seriously by Bryan. It looks amazing.

Yeah, in her case black would have been fine. But having it dark blue makes it that much more accurate and as you say makes it 'pop'.

X1: Mystique; Wolverine
X2: Nightcrawler
DOFP: Quicksilver; Blink
Apocalypse: Psylocke? (Phoenix? Jubilee?)

Part of it is courtesy of the characters themselves, part of it is direction.

One thing I do miss from X1: there was an emotional weight to the Rogue-Wolverine relationship that I felt was never re-achieved to such a depth as in that movie.

It's funny when I see which characters are popular with the GA as it depends only on what's been shown in these films so people are a bit confused when someone like me has favourites that have hardly appeared or been severely muted on film so far. At least it looks like Psylocke won't need to be defended any more!

Fans of the characters you list should be pretty satisfied as those have had a great showing in at least one film and I look forward to the time when all the main X-Men have had a great showing. Then it will mean more having a discussion with someone who doesn't read comics or watch the animated show who their favourite chartacter is. At the moment it will just be one of those who have been given a great role so far by default.

She's definitely a femme fatale! Even the official twitter account of X-Men movies labeled her that. But I hope she was as quiet as Mystique was in X2/X1. I need some amazing lines from her so I could put them in my sig!
