Omega Flight!!!!!

Well considering people said she could ONLY turn into animals, not even a female or male as some members stated when I have provided scans stating she can. It's facts.

from what I know that was some kind of possesion or somthing, wanda had control of her right? Im not saying she cant turn into her female form or god form or even demons,Im just saying she cant turn into anyone or anything she likes and have full range of whoever or whatevers abilities.

Guardian's stunning introduction.....on issue 3/5? I hope that doesn't mean the pacing of the book is slow, decompression could KILL this mini.

Well considering he was the first Flight member to die, it almost makes sense to have him be the only one to survive.

He didn't survive, James Hudson died. The new Guardian is the Collective

Nope, she activated her transforming powers in the body and changed Walter as he didn;t know how to. He could only be a female and a white version of Sasquatch that is it. Except that's her powers, they even state when she transforms into whatever she does she gains the FULL power/abilities of what she transforms into. Even states this when she transforms into Tanaraq.

They might mean reveal his identity to the team, as we know from Intiative they are already together.

im not saying she cant take on full abilities of those shes transforms to what I am saying is that she cannot turn into anything and everything.

That's what was said though when she became a mortal and wasn't restricted.

Poor Steven Harper, doesn't get a cameo as the prime minister in a Canadian book.....ha!

FIVE FOR FRIDAY... FIVE REASONS YOU NEED TO READ 'OMEGA FLIGHT'
Wizard gives you five reasons you don't need to cross the border to have some Canadian-style fun

The Great White North heats up like the tropics starting in April when writer Michael Avon Oeming (Cross Bronx) and artist Scott Kolins (Beyond) team up for the five-issue mini-series Omega Flight, a remix edition of Canada’s premier superteam, Alpha Flight. To get you hosers ready for this Canuckleheaded excursion over the border, here are five reasons you should book a trip on Omega Flight!

1. AVON CALLING!
He probably never gets sick of hearing that, but Oeming’s been proving his writing chops are as strong as his pencil work. Check out his recent turns penning the hard-hitting crime thriller Cross Bronx and the mythically inspired adventure of Ares for proof that Oeming’s mastered the keyboard as well as the pen and ink. Look for Oeming to take all the disparate elements of this quirky Omega Flight project and concoct a satisfying stew of comic book awesome-ness!

2. GREAT SCOTT!
Not to be outdone, Kolins continues to wow with his intricate pencils and knack for insane action sequences. Kolins was a big part of what made Geoff Johns’ run on Flash so great back in the day, and since he’s been at the House of Ideas, he’s only honed and refined his eye-catching style. Expect Omega Flight to overflow with destructive superhero action sequences—a Kolins specialty.

3. TWO GREAT TASTES, ETC., ETC.
This is not the first collaboration between Oeming and Kolins; they teamed up once before in 2006 for Thor: Blood Oath, a powerful six-issue mini that featured Thor and the Warriors Three undertaking an epic journey to battle barbarians, gods and monsters to prove their innocence against a murder accusation. Past returns don’t guarantee future gains, but that critically received superhero gem sets the stage for more costumed greatness once Omega Flight takes off.

4. THE UNUSUAL SUSPECTS
Ever been to one of those parties where nobody knows each other, but it turns out to be the most riotous get-together of the century? We’re betting that with an eclectic lineup of USAgent, Arachne (the former Spider-Woman, Julia Carpenter), Beta Ray Bill, Sasquatch, Talisman and the new Guardian, Omega Flight’s gonna boast more combustibility than a lake of nitroglycerin.

5. GET WRECKED!
We don’t mean pound a sixer of Molson Golden before you read Omega Flight (unless you’re of age). Instead, get ready for non-stop balls-out action when Omega Flight goes up against the earth-shattering might of the Wrecking Crew, four superpowered bruisers looking to turn Canada into a war zone—just for kicks! Beauty, eh?

Son I'm all on this book. :hyper:

Good news for whoever the Wrecking Crew fan was as [spoilers]from the review in Silverbullets, seems it's not Sasquatch that beats them[/spoilers]

It'll probably be Pointer, I like the idea of him the Guardian suit anyways. It'll be good to see the rest of the teams reaction to having a mass-murderer on the team, hopefully like Speedball/Penance.. just not crap.

This should be great, hopefully it's turnt into an ongoing series anyways. Scott Kolins and Oeming work well together as Blood Oath showed us, Oeming's really starting to become one of my favourite writers.

Wizard always know how to turn me off things.

However, I am still buying Omega Flight.

And Mungi, might want to fix your tags :D

I wouldn't consider myself a Wrecking Crew fan, but I think I was the one who mentioned that all they ever seem to do now is get pwned by progressively wussier characters. If that person is really the one who takes them down, then I feel a little better for them. Still, their basic purpose here is, once again, to take a beating and build a new team/character up at their expense.

I reckon the Wrecking Crew deserve a mini-series by now, after all they have played the role of punching-bags for the last few years, they definetly deserve to be redeemed. I know I'd probably buy it.

Speedball is not a mass murderer, Nitro is.

Yeah I know that's not what I meant by comparing the two, I meant they both have something to make up for. Pointer isn't a mass murderer technically either, he was being possesed by the collective. But they both have innoncent people's lives on their conscience and feel they have to make up for it, IMO Pointer going about it in an ALOT more normal way.
