Omigod It Makes Perfect Sense!!!

They dont need "useless characters" to kill, they are killing a lot of major ones as it seems...

We have come to the conclusion that they are expendable already.

 

Callisto isn't a "useless" character.

 

None of them are useless, I'm really excited to see Quill and Arclights powers in action.

Man am I sick of all this "so and so should be in!"

Whats the point in sticking people in for the sake of it? Would you be happy if Havoc and Polaris were in the brotherhood??

 

Exactly. To introduce Havok they would have to mention him being brothers with Scott, and then that is ANOTHER storyline. People are already complaining that there are too many storylines going on.

 

Quill can go and maybe Archlight but Callisto must live on.

 

you could say the same thing about juggernaut and xavier though, there will be no mention of them being related in X3, or mystique and nightcrawler in x2 either

 

I think they were brought in because of their powers and they may help the plot at some point. Characters like Avalanche wernt used because you can imagine a final battle with a big earthquake...there wouldnt be a need for one, everyone would be falling over and Alcatraz would be demolished and that would be it.

They can also be introduced and not be fully developed. If they brought in Cannonball or Gambit they would have had to been developed because they are quite important characters. Same with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. There isnt enough time to develop each character and give them the screentime they deserve so they introduce fairly unknown characters with cool powers.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Callisto makes it out. Arclight is pretty much dead. But I agree with Electrix...a lot of these characters were probably brought in becuase of their powers, and how they served the story.

A lot of characters that are in the movies after two movies get a chance to develop. Having Havock just needs a flashback to the plane crash not or the cartoon way with not knowing that they are brothers.

But why, just for the sake of having "Havoc" in the film, who becomes just random blonde guy who shoots energy beams. Which makes his inclusion kinda pointless.

Unfortunately us fans can be a little too passionate about characters at times.

But the first 2 movies not featuring any of my most fave chars in a prominent role (save for Rogue) didnt stop me loving them!

 

Well you gotta be careful when writing characters off as "useless and pathetic"...

 

I'm rather excited to see characters like Quills and Archlight. IMO, this is the best Brohood yet.
