Once Upon A Time In Wonderland

New episode tonight.

Really loving this episode! The effects even look a little better to me.

Good episode. Liked the flashbacks. But don't like the look of them throwing all of Aladdin apparently out the door. And I think it would've been better if genies were much rarer than they seem to be.

Now Jafars serphant wand thingy was an interesting change.

Wonderland, that's a good name for it...as in I wonder how this landed its own show. This s**t borin'. :o

Still waiting for it to get more interesting.

Ouch, Vampire Diairies BEAT this in demos last night. Wonderland- 0.9, VD 1.2.

im enjoying the show quite alot. This episode was pretty great imo

though, it does beg many a question as to why Alice doesn't just wish Jafar lose his magic, wish for Sirus to appear in front of her and already rescued... etc.. etc..

Actually, I didn't watch the episode last night...not yet, at least. And I was watching it because I'm a fan of OUaT and Alice in Wonderland.

So you were just looking for attention with that post. Cool. :o

Good episode last night. Loved the Jafar backstory. I'm really loving Naveen in this role, as well as the LOST reunion.

If you think it's boring, why are you watching it?
I'm watching because I want to know if it will get better though I've found it boring myself. I started expecting something like OUAT which so far it's been unevenly. The love story is stretching along longer and more uninterestingly than I expected.

For me if it doesn't improve I won't watch anymore.

The relevant point is I am still watching expecting it to improve and if it doesn't I won't be watching anymore. Personally, I only will endure a new series for three or four episodes before quitting it if I'm not interested.

honestly.. i found last nights episode to be more drama filled (in the sense that they effectively placed the feeling of drama) than so far, this entire season of once... Im so tired of watching them roam around the jungles of neverland

I think this season of Once has been quite good, but it does seem like they've been sort of stuck in stasis for this entire amount of time. And I place the entirety of the blame of the people who complained about last season being more plot-based than character-based. Here, enjoy, you're getting character progression and those characters are wandering through the jungle.

If we weren't in the jungles of Neverland, we would be in the forests of FTL, or the bland streets of Storybrooke. We just cant win. That is where Wonderland beats it, they at least treat Wonderland as a world where there are more than just trees.

oh im enjoying the season too.. but other than a few back story details, info on hook, rumple, and the new characters like tink, pan, and ariel.. little to nothing has happened.

Hell look how many times pan has appeared before them, changed the camp, etc... this season is feeling like nothing more than LOST's take on ONCE

well yes, but that's not so much my complaint. FTL at least has other characters and population roaming around it. even beasts and animals. we've seen nothing in neverland beyonnd a few mermaids, pan tink and the lost boys..

Tiger Lily and the Indian's would be a great addition

No, I don't care about attention, you jack-ass. Just voicing my opinion. :oldrazz:

Jafar's back story was close to what I suspected. Nice to see his cobra staff have thematic/character significance. I might venture a guess with his staff he may be an equal to Regina or Rumple even. The connection to the Sultan was not what I expected though.

Jafar has 2 genie's bottles though, so I wonder if he had some interaction with Sydney Glass at some point? That would be a simple way to link him to OUAT. I'm also now pretty sure the other man in the cage next to Cyrus is the Sultan of Agrabah.

What else has the actress who played Liz been in?

I love Socha here so much. Unfortunately I fear I am more invested in Wil as a character than I am Alice. I can't say I am looking forward to any Knave-less episodes, though he'll probably pop up for Red Queen backstory flashbacks.

I am more interested in Jafar and Agrahbah than I am in Wonderland now lol. I totally need to see Jasmine and Aladdin now. Since the Sultan should be Jasmines father (unless the Sultan had a brother who is Jasmines father) they should be trying to rescue him.

Ooooh, maybe he knew about him and at some point, came to the Enchanted Forest looking for him, but found Regina instead and how she turned him into a mirror, and rebuffed Jafar or did something to tick him off. Boom, she's got another enemy to go along with Mal and Ursula, falling right into my theory. ;)

Also... I think this shows there's more than one kingdom (there were other royals at the ball). Which is indeed accurate to the books.

Makes sense to spread out Cora as a separate area. Id wager her kingdom may be a tad smaller too. Saw a nice illustrated map based on both wonderland books and the maps looked semi accurate to this show oddly enough. One with a chess set castle and chess board hedge maze and another smaller kingdom for the queen of hearts

Was I mistaken or just hearing things but was there a Last Mimzy reference in tonite's episode?? It is Disney (isn't it??) and there was a connection with Alice in it.
