One in the eye for intelligent design

Well that just means if your friend's dog can understand it, you can also.

Intelligent design is and always has been a pseudoscience relying on the comeback, "oh yeah, prove me wrong."
So you are assuming that I'm taking the side of intelligent design? Where's the science in assumption?

There's no point in arguing with a bunch of pompous f-cks who have wet dreams of Darwin face f-cking Jesus every night.

The last 2 posters in this thread have caused me to chuckle. You are commended.

I've been bouncing back and forth as this has been interesting and that is the greatest post I've ever read in my life! Check your PM box homie.

Whats funny is that it is indeed their comeback, but they haven't even gotten around to proving Intelligent Design itself. It is just a "feeling".

FYI, Darwin and Jesus didn't live in the same time period, unless you mean Darwin is a time traveler, in that case, SWEET!

Well, I'd say they are in Heaven together shooting craps but that thought might cause the scientists here to go into an uproar.

All we ask for it proof of Intelligent Design and you wouldn't be getting all the opposition. Until then, it is just an opinion.

I could say there is a purple 3 legged trogdor under my bed, and according to your logic there would be.

And I agree with that. Doesn't mean the majority of you aren't *****. :cwink:

Actually with my logic, he'd be wearing a three legged suit and singing 'Flesh For Fantasy' by Billy Idol.

Explain how? Seriously. People are pushing this to be taught in schools, how the hell would you want rational people to think and act about that? It should never happen. Just that it is being considered being taught is amazingly stupid.

And as I stated a few pages back, I am against it being taught in schools because it can't be proven.

I like how everyone seems to want science and religion to fight it out and one to take down the other and one to be the true answer.

But a couple of times in this thread, there has been an attempt to separate the two ideas, science being the HOW and religion being the WHY.

The problem being people trying to push intelligent design are way off, trying to mix religion with science, which they can't and shouldn't be. I guess a few people here have jumped in to start crap and haven't noticed the earlier trade-off saying that heck, science could have been made by god to make the universe.

But, hey... flame wars are more fun.

Yes they are. And to be honest, I get and understand your stance. I just don't fully agree with it. And that's that. There really is no point in arguing any further.

The intelligent design movement hasn't even submitted an article for peer review. Michael Behe of the Discovery Institute admitted this during his cross examination in the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District trial. They push for it to be recognized as a science but refuse to stand up to the scrutiny that any other scientific theory does on an almost daily basis.

Everything is the same. Everything is one. We divide things out so that we can grasp them.
