The idea of Pete as a chick magnet is the only thing appealing. I think. If MJ remembers everything, I see lots of fights ahead as she fends off attention to Pete.

If MJ remembers everything, what in the world is stopping her from just going up to Pete and building a relationship with him again?

Maybe the thing she whispered in Mephisto's ear is that she'll remember everything but refrain from ever getting back with Pete. But that makes no sense considering the last words she said to him, which seemed to suggest that she's going to be doing everything in her power to get back with him.

Well, it's possible that she simply doesn't remember anything. That was always just speculation.

I dunno, maybe they'll do a 'reality crashes and breaks' thing, with all possibilities existing in the same space/time continuum. Would mess up everything.

Maybe the terms of the deal are that if she does remember and she does actively attempt to get back with Peter, May dies like she damn well should've. Which would make MJ a murderer if she tried to get back with Peter and probably make Peter, man-child that he is, never, ever forgive her for killing mommy dearest.

I think skanks and wannabes will constantly approach Peter to tempt MJ into 'fessing up' to stop the insanity. Part of Red's deal...we KNOW nothing ever turns out the way its supposed to.

Man I don't know. On one hand I'm still really peeved about this for several points.

-MJ is a superhero
-The marriage is gone
-JQ's interveiws are pissing me off
-and Harry is alive again
-and Peter made a deal with the devil

On the other hand--

-Slott is writing BND and it looks good
-and the web shooters are back

Now I know you may think those five cons out weight those two, but Slotts writing is the equivalent of three points and the web shooters are two.

So you can see how my mind is in constant pandemonium right now.

To be fair I think the preview reads well.

But, not a chance I'm going to pick it up after OMD. (Well I didn't even pick that up I read a friends copy - I stopped buying Spider-Mna with The Other).

This will sell a load, it will probably continue to sell loads for a long while.

Exactly the same thing happened with Avengers Disassembled and New Avengers - even a great number of people who "will never support this title after such character rape in Disassembled" are now picking up the title and Bendis is half the writer Slott is.

We are a fickle lot.
