It's sad too, or hilarious, reading a few threads on some sites where the "fan" pretty much says..."despite many plot holes and that i totally didn't like OMD"..."I'm pumped to read Slott and BND."

People, BND is just a continuation of OMD.

I just made my own "sprite comic" about OMD/BND. And following Harlekin's advice, saved it in .gif form. It does look better.

I've only done a handful of these. This was my latest one. I usually just blam them out in about 1-2 hours to bemuse myself and some of my AIM buddies.

Sadly, yes.

Alas. In STREET FIGHTER VS. MARVEL SUPERHEROES, "Mephisto" was a secret character, but he was simply Blackheart in that color with a name change. Much as that game colored Cap's sprite black and called him U.S. Agent (and they had Armor Spider-Man).

Some hacker fans at Mugen are basically creating one.

Too bad no more Marvel-centric Capcom games will come out at all. That deal was made when Marvel was in the red and apparently they weren't happy with it, because it was not extended. MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 was the end of that alliance.

DC's characters are owned by WB, anyway. The two sides rarely like organizing joint ventures, and when they do, conflicts abound and the fans in the middle are hurt. Just ask any fan of X-Men Evolution. They may NEVER see a DVD set of the last season, or box sets of the first two, because of such conflicts.

I suppose. The fighting-game craze is starting to wane, though. An "alliance" type game could be the best option. But, it won't happen.

Maybe not. Spider-Man has SONY behind him, and they are a heavier company than Marvel Enterprises. They may not take any obvious underhanded tactics so well. Granted, they allowed MTV to kill their last show without a fight...

They're on the decline because of first person shooters. Think about it, in the days of SEGA Genesis, everyone sat around with the Street Fighters and Mortal Kombats of the world. Now it's Halo and Call of Duty.
