Seriously, he talks about the Parker luck and then cuts back to a point where a guy in a Spider-Man mask is tarnishing his good name by mugging people. That's the Parker luck, not the fact that he's cheating on MJ with some ho.

Eh, it's no goofier than Spider-Man's dialogue has been in the past. Peter's a geek; he talks and thinks like a geek.

The preview mostly looks good, aside from that. I have a feeling BND will sell like hotcakes and we'll all continue *****ing impotently. Oh well, here's hoping whomever Joe Q's successor is likes the marriage or at least needs a quick sales spike and realizes bringing MJ back down the line would do it.

I don't think we've seen the last of MJ in these books... let's face it... the movies have made it somewhat clear that MJ is IMPORTANT to Peter... a bond is a bond is a bond, regardless of a legal piece of paper that claims "marriage"...

They will be back together at some point in the future...
