One More Day Discussion Thread

sure the lack of any kind of timely or cohesive publishing schedule didn't help...

Yeah, that may be why. I was surprised to see him plugging Savage Dragon in that column. I thought it ended years ago.

nope its back had a pretty hefty hiatus it came out three months in a row one time I was like "Hey Bonus!"

Is it any good? I left off when Dragon went to some parallel reality where everything was almost the same but not quite.

SD is a great read. Anytime Larsen seems to get bored, he switches it up and throws SD into a different genre and tells different kinds of stories, all the while continuing and keeping up the continuity.

My first experiences looking at Larsen's art was his run on ASM, and he tried to be too "McFarlane-ish", in my opinion, which might have been the editorial mandate of the day.

I tried to read Savage Dragon, I think I have the first dozen issues or so, but I really couldn't stand to look at it...

But I like him as a person though...

:yay:

I like his art a lot. His style is like a Buscema/Kirby soup.

I'm feelin it but then I admit to having questionable tastes, he is continuing the story pretty organically and effectively IMO. His notes must be good cause the story is seamless...

he's still there tryin to make sense of it all...and many of the supporting characters have come back as well

I guess my shop doesn't order Savage Dragon, either. I kind of wish I could read it again. :(

I'm sure your shop orders it. You probably just don't notice it because you aren't looking for it.

back issues my man I'm sure they have a few...

in the image hardcover which was reprinted either in solo form or as a single issue...would take WAY too much digging for me to find out right now...

is it on there?

seent it they left out a pretty big plot point i will PM if your curious...

Nope. I wonder if Larsen did that on purpose, or if that was his origin for the Dragon all along.

The Marriage break-up was on Channel 4 news today.

They had interviews with a lot of angry fanboys saying how upset they were and going to stop reading Spider-Man and one fangirl who said she doesn't like romance so she likes the changes.

She doesn't like romance, so she likes the changes? Is she ******ed? The reason they unmarried him was to introduce more romance into his life.
