hype records of that event have either been erased or we aren't able to access them, i tried asking a few years ago...probably incase someone brought them up to invoke insults....

although terrorist attacks on the uk and their relevant threads haven't been treated with the same manner.

I'm not sure I appreciate some peoples tone in this thread about that day. I saw the towers on fire with my own eyes, my wife worked only a few blocks from the towers. The feeling was somber as people made their way through Manhattan not knowing when and if the next plane or bomb or whatever was going to happen. As I got closer to my wifes job after walking about 45 city blocks, I could see the people covered in soot and blood, people crying everywhere, cops doing there best to try and maintain some kind of order. Just the utter fear and panic on peoples faces was enough to make you choke back your tears. It is nothing to take light heartedly and even the slightest witty remark about that day is offensive.

It's really sad what happened to both him and his coworkers, and really scary too...especiall the end. But I also thought the guy was being kind of a jerk. I mean if he knew what was going on, which he seemed to, he had no sympathy for the fire and rescue people. My heart goes out to him, it really does, but at the same time my heart also goes out to the rescue people who at that moment were risking their lives to save people just like him.
