Will he?! I have to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO HEAR "HULK SMASH!!" I'll fricken cry.

DACMAN you're a true fan. Do you think he should talk? His facial expression in the first film worked out well even though he didn't speak. I'm not really sure if Hulk should talk, but considering this is something more of a remake then why not make Hulk talk.

I remembered you a few years ago you wanted to hear the same thing
Just before Ang lee's movie came out
You are obsess with this phrase
Anyways they have to make the CGI hulk talk because without word it'll be empty and soulless
The voice is one of the things that make a character believable whether it’s hand drawing animation or CGI
The eyes maybe the window through the soul but the voice itself is the soul.

I want to hear "Hulk sell cars!"

well wasn't it confirmed a while back that the guy who voiced the Hulk in the Avengers cartoon is aboard to voice him in this movie?

I think the Hulk will talk

Wow. Well put. And yeah, that was me...:o

He spoke once in the first movie when he said "Puny Human." If he does speak in the second one, hopefully it's another single short sentence.

Why? He speaks in the comics. He has a personality in the comics. That's like making a Spider-Man movie and hoping he says one line the entire movie. There's no reason for the character to only speak one line the entire movie unless your goal is to kill any amount of personality the character has. Wolverine talks, Batman talks, and guess what? So does the HULK. He needs to talk.

Im sorry but if the Hulk talks the movie is going to look very corny...I felt one of the corniest scenes in the movie was when he did talk. It was so ******ed imo. I hope he doesnt, it works well in comics but not in film

That's not true at all. That's like saying that Spider-Man's costume would look stupid in a movie (which people said that 5 years ago here) because it looked bad in the 70's live action show. It has everything to do with the talents behind it. It looked bad in the tv show because the costume designer didn't do a good job. It doesn't mean it would translate poorly to screen. The first movie proved that wrong. Because the talent was much better.

Same goes for a movie about the HULK that talks. Ang didn't have the talent, or vision to do a HULK that talks well. That doesn't mean it can't be done. And to say that it can't be done because one guy failed only means you lack imagination. You're attitude that "Ang couldn't do it, so no one can" is silly. There are other, BETTER directors out there.

Just because one guy screwed something up doesn't mean another guy can't get it right.

Actually I prefer black webs to silver.

He should definitely talk!

While fighting A-bomb: "Lizard-thing make Hulk angry! Now.. HULK SMASH!!!"

I believe theres a very good possibility The Hulk will not only talk in this upcoming revamped Hulk movie, but also that he will probably have more lines than what we saw in Ang Lee's version as well. If the style of this film is going to be decidedly less serious, less dark, and a bit more light in tone, with several more action sequences, yes. I can see the people involved giving The Hulk more one liners than in Ang Lee's version. Especially since it's been repeated that this new film is being made to reflect the comics more than what we saw with Ang Lee's interpretation of the character.

To come to think about it, if in the first film the Hulk didn't talk much which caused the movie to flank, then why not make him talk this time? In any case we the fans get satisfied and i think it's about time the general public get to know the Hulk from the comics.IMO

I thought they said Lou Ferrigno was going to voice the Hulk in the movie?

He should, it's only fitting, plus he voiced the Hulk in some of the 90s cartoons

If he didnt talk that would be stupid. IMO Ang made the mistake in not allowing the Hulk to talk in the 1st film. There's so much expression you can see in the CGI version of Hulk. To me it was just pure "Arrgghhhh" and that alone. In the only time he spoke, he highlighted his deep hate for Banner. And besides, if anyone was to get angry and start bashing people, would they only muffle "Arrrgghhh" all the time? Nah, you'd hear some expletives, "Im gonna kill you and your mamma" and whatever. I wanna hear hime talk.

Still on topic but can anyone name the person who actually said "puny human" in Hulk?

:whatever: Yep, I walked into that one, lol. I was referring to the voice actor. Maybe Ang did it himself? His accent's come on a long way.

There's no voice actor listed for Hulk in the credits. It's a mystery.

^ I could swear he did but I'm not searching for where if it was here, myspace, or wherever but I could swear he touched on that. Oh well he'll be here in a matter of weeks so he can answer all the questions we ask as long as they dont' spoil anything too much I'm sure.

I disagree. Look at all the various sci-fi movies that have strange and outlandish characters talking...Star Wars for example. And considering their box office takes, the mainstream audience seems to find it accepable.

If you view these movies, or certain aspects of them as "corny", well...maybe this ain't your "thing".
