No kidding.
"That's putting it mildly!"
At least the Juggernaut now has the proof he needed that I wasn't responsible for these fabrications of someone's sick and twisted mind. Who could be behind this? Who could even dream up such a set of circumstances?
I immediatley begin dodging the blasts from the 'aliens' (Which, by the way, look far too exaggerated from the real thing), while shooting heat vision blasts at them. It takes out a few of the weapons they hold... But they're still very much outnumbering us.
I fly up, concentrating as the heat begins to swell behind my retinas, once more. This is going to take a considerably large amount of h-
"AGH!"
I'm hit by something flying past me. It's too fast to tell for sure, but I manage to see a red and blue blur. My mechanical counterpart, it seems...
I fall to the ground, from the impact of the hit. It... actually hurts. Whoever built these things made sure to not only capture the likeness, but also the ability of the individual. I'd actually be in awe of how detailed each one of them are if I wasn't being attacked by one...
I push myself out of the small crater I just made, and look up, fully expecting to see a mirror version of myself hovering above me. My eyes widen, as the figure becomes clearer.
Well, This is certainly an interesting turn of events...
The Spider-Man robot attacks before I attack it. Flipping up into the air, It kicks me across the face, and pushes off of my chest as it backflips, and lands on a wall. I look at it, stunned. How could the robot have pulled
that off? Who could've possibly duplicated this?!
My thoughts are cut short as The Spider-Bot raises his hand towards me, and fires...
...
Webbing?
I flinch as I'm covered in a thick, gray substance. I try to get out, but... I can't. It's bound my arms to the point where I can't even move them an inch. This is possibly the stickiest substance I've ever come across in my life... And I can still feel pressure, indicating that the false Spider-Man is still bombarding me with it.
Alright, Clark... Think fast... Think thorough, but fast... Oh, forget it, Just THINK...
Then, an idea pops into my head. Gum isn't as sticky when it's hardened, if I recall. Immediatley, with that in mind, I take a deep breath, and blow out a cloud of icy mist, freezing the webbing around me, until...
*SMASH*
My fist breaks through the substance, as I tear the hardened webbing apart, around me.
*THWIP*
I look up, seeing the Spider-Man robot swinging towards me. I sneer at it.
"Oh no you don't. Not this time..."
I push off of the ground, propelling me into the air at lightning speed as I grab the robot's foot, spin, and throw him into a car, mid-air. The heat behind my eyes increases, as the robot gets up. I fire at it, fully expecting to turn it into a puddle of liquid metal.
...Instead, It somersaults forward, out of the way of the beam as the carn is destroyed. I continue firing numerous blasts at it, but to no avail. He keeps flipping over and dodging them. He's as fast as the
real Spider-Man, from what I've seen.
I finally get tired of firing beams at him. The most I'm doing is wrecking the street he's on.
...
Wait! This gives me an idea...
Flying higher up into the air, I stop, abrubtly, before dropping. As I drop, I increase my momentum... Until...
*SMASH*
I rocket into the street, sending a shockwave of energy at the robot. Being that he can't get out of the area in time, It hits him, and knocks him to the ground. Taking this opprotunity, I run at him, at full speed, before ramming my shoulder into him, sending him quite a few feet into the air.
Now's my chance...
Letting the heat swell up, once again, I grit my teeth as I fire a large blast at the robot, shattering it on impact. As bits of red and blue painted metal fly to the ground, I turn, and fly back towards the others.
As I do, I notice The Juggernaut spitting over the destroyed robot of me. I fly down, grab the body, and rip the 'S' off of it's chest.
"I'd rather you get your own, thank you.", I say, melting the symbol with my heat vision.
That's two down... two to go...
