He yelped in pain as the poison entered his system. Slowly, inexorably, he dropped to his knees, his strength drained. His arms drooped, and his hands lay against the grass that had come from his blood.

"Thor doth not... lose."

With an air of finality, Thor slumped face first into the dirt of the cliffs of Dover.
"Yes, Thor doth lose", mocked the Dark Lord as he walked up to his fallen opponent.

"And it's time for him to die now", said Mordru as he raised his hand high into the air. A large green beam of energy shot out of his hand and slowly turned into the shape of an executioner's axe.
Mordru smiled as he looked at his beaten opponent. He was going to enjoy this.

But, just as the Dark Lord was about to deliver the final blow, something to his side drew his attention. Turning to see what it was, Mordru curiously watched a mystical portal open up only a few dozen meters away.
Soon after the portal opened, a robbed figure strode out of it.

"What have we here?"

"Well, go ahead and pee. Nobody's stopping you."

Lex Luthor didn't have time for games. He casually took out a knife from the suitcase and stuck it in Deadpool's thigh. He twisted it to add to the pain.

"As I said, I don't need you to tell me anything. I'll leave my scientists to run some tests of their own."

Lex Luthor pressed a button beside the door. A few moments later, it opened, and a large, balding man in a labcoat entered the room.

"Nathanson, start cutting him up."

Lex Luthor smiled at Deadpool as he walked out the door, letting it close behind him.

“Come on Luthor don’t leave me here with your Dr.Evil wannabe!” Yelled Deadpool as Luthor left the room. The lab assistant Nathan pulled a sleek handsaw from the suitcase Luthor had left.

“Hey dude, what about my last words and stuff?” Intrigued Nathan moved in closer. Wade lent as far toward as his restraints would let him and whispered in his ear. “While you’re down there can you pick up my mask?”

“Down where?” Confused Nathan pulled away slightly.

Wade kicked Nathan across the room then pulled the knife from out his thigh. He slid the knife through his fingers and began to franticly twist it hoping to cut the circuits in the restrains. The restrains openedin unison and Deadpool got up from the chair.

Wade rammed the young lab assistant against the wall and raised the knife to his throat. [/I][/B]“How about you and me have a little talk… first off where’s the bathroom?”

"You assume correctly", answered Druid as he opened a gateway with a wave of his hand.

"We are heading directly into the jaws of the beast. Be ready to fight immediately upon exiting the portal."

Druid said no more turned and walked into the portal...and stepped out onto the Cliffs of Dover.

I think about how powerful that being Thor and I encountered appeared. Without even fighting him, it...felt...like his power was...I don't even have a word for that strong a power.

"You two go ahead. I've got an idea. Something a friend once showed me, although I've never tried it myself. I'll be there in a couple of seconds. Mordru seemed to know me, but I'll make sure he won't ever forget the name Flash."

Durid and Zatanna look at me questioningly, but go into their portal anyway. I crouch down and ready my muscles. I don't think I could do this normally, but whatever that young woman did to me, well, I feel like I could do anything right now. And I'm about to prove it.

I take off running in the opposite direction. Need speed, more speed. I keep building and building, becoming faster with each step. The world slips by me almost faster than I can follow.

In no time I've crossed the world and approach my target. I smile as I put everything I have into this. I see Druid and Zatanna exit their portal, but focus on my target. Before Mordru even knows what's happening, I pull back my fist and trust all my energy into one solid punch.

The blow connects, and I force all the kinetic energy I've built into in an instant. The surprise doesn't even register on Mordru's face before he's sent flying off into the distance.

I dust off my hands. I know what the other Flash called it, but it didn't really feel like an Infinite Mass Punch to me. Which means I either did something right, or something wrong. Either way, if Mordru's not out of the fight, he's out of it for the moment.

The two mages look at me, not even sure what they had seen. I shrug. "For tormenting those millions of poor souls, it's the least of what he deserved."

Mysterio's work was interrupted by giant red flashing letters.

WARNING

He races toward the screen and presses a view buttons. The screen changed to show off four people flying toward his studio.

"WHAT!" he shouts "Do they think they can defeat the powerful Mysterio". He begins to type furiously into the computer.

"This complictes things and forces a change of plans" he press the enter key.

A large army of aliens start to charge out of the studio and begin to fire at the people in the air. At the George Washington Bridge cars stop and crashes into one another. People get of out and look into the sky a large spacecraft appeared out of nowhere. At Liberty Island two vine like structures again appeared out of nowhere and wrapped around the Statue of Liberty. Lastly four figures crashed through the celling and towards the heroes. They included a Superman, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Iron Man.

Mysterio grabbed an unfinishd robot and slung it on his back. Gas engulfed him and the whole room. The only thing that could be heard was his laughter.

"......"

Huh. How about that.

"Guys, it's offical. The ****'s hit the fan."

"It could be worse, Condom Lad. We could be facing an army of Brood or something. Think of this as less of doomed fight, and more of a bonding experience." Morph said jovially.

As he chattered on he surveyed the area around him. Things were getting out of hand, and for a moment he worried about his own future. Thoughts of future marketing plans and dates with Dazzler, helped made him feel better.

Was he starting with that end of the world stuff again? Either way there is a weird feeling in the air and…I don’t like the way it feels. It feels, sickish.

This time I don’t hesitate to follow him through the portal. And I pop out behind him in a…battle field.

My eyes fly wide open as I see a large thin man standing over a large blond Viking guy a bolt of mystic energy extending from his hand. The ground is covered in many clumps of grass, spread like green droplets over the landscape and like a large puddle of green where the man lay.

…I want to go home….I want to go home….

I turn from the blond man and look at the thin one….waves of energy seemed to sweep off of him and something was familiar…it was like my fathers.

My eyes fly open in shock and rage. He’s the one who killed my father.

I hold my hands up, ready to utter words but before I can there’s a flash of red and Mordru is sent flying into the air. O..kay….old guys got some strength and speed in him.

I quickly race over to the large viking guy. I wonder how weird I look. All these brightly clad people and me in my usual black attire. I kneel next to him and push back a strand of black hair from my face. His body is covered in his blood, his hair matted with it. Why isn't it on the ground.
I watch as a small drop slips from his arm and onto the ground, springing up in green, lush grass.
If this had happened to me yesterday I'd have thought it weird. But now it seemed normal.

He moans and I lean over so he can see me. Well…if he peeked his eyes open.
I have to fix him somehow. But how?

It can’t be as easy as saying ‘heal’ backwards. Can it?

Well, have to admit, he’s not going to get much worse.

I hold my hands over him and focus.

Druid took in all that happened once they stepped out of the portal. Mordru was somewhat surprised to see him, and a second later he was sent flying off into the distance thanks to the Flash.
Thor appeared to be half dead, but Zatanna was seeing to that. Which was good. They'd need all the help they can get before the Dark Lord returned.

"We do not have much time", said Druid as he approached his comrades.
"The Dark Lord will soon return, and we must be ready. I will occupy him when he returns, and I ask for your help in doing this, Flash and Thor."

After they answered him, Druid walked up to Zatanna and spoke to her softly.
"You've done magnificently thus far, child, but this will be your biggest challenge yet. Our one chance of defeating Mordru lies in giving him what he wants. You must work your magics and create a dimensional rift out of this reality."

"Our only hope is to cast him out from our world."

I kneel down and put my hand on Thor's shoulder. First Darkseid, now this. Just can't catch a break, can you big guy. "Don't worry," I say to him, "Zatanna here knows what she's doing. I felt almost as bad as you a minute ago. She'll fix you right up to." I give Zatanna a look of confidence. I can tell she's new at this, and will need all the support she can get.

Still kneeling, I look back at Druid. "Whatever you need from me, you've got it. He won't even see me coming."

"I don't mind the idea of getting rid of him, but sending him to another world...wouldn't that just make him someone else's problem? I don't like the idea of just putting another world through what we've gone through. If there is anyway to really stop him, let's go for it."

Then I have an idea. I take out the amulet and toss it to Druid. "I used this against those zombies in France. Even though I'm not a magic user, it worked pretty well for me. If it can do anything against Mordru, I figure you can really put it to good use." I smile. "I'll just need it back when you're done with it. The friend I borrowed it from wouldn't be very happy if I lost it."

"Please." Bullseye sighed wiping the blood away from my nose. "Do myself a favour? The only favour I'm gonna do myself here pal is killing you and cashing in my check with the big guy." He grabbed a sai from his leg pocket and dived at Cap. "Time to die, pretty boy!"
"Are you kidding me?"

I easily block the sai with my shield, stepped to the side and introduced my shield to the back of Bullseye's head.

"Listen, why do you even work for Fisk, he is scum. I am sure you want to be much more than that."

Bullseye rubs the back of his head, that hurt a lot. Prehaps it was time he stopped underestimating this guy. "Scum that pays off... handsomley!" Bullseye cried as he quickly turned on the sport, unleashing a batch of throwing stars upon Captain America.

I jump to the side to dodge them and block some with my shield.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

One of the throwing stars got me in my thigh.

"Damn, this guy is good."

I land next to the semi conscious Devil.

Ok, leg really hurts....

I pull the star out of my leg and toss it aside.

"Congrats, that is the closest anyone has gotten to seriously hurting me in about 60 or so years."

Meanwhile, in space....

Far out from the Earth, in the farthest reaches of the solar system, a small, unregarded piece of machinery drifted through the black abyss, orbiting harmlessly around the massive yellow sun as it had done for ages. The tiny Kryptonian deep space probe, rerouted from its original course to intercept a high-priority distress signal from another ship of its kind, had followed its target to this star system, and then lost the signal. With no specific destination selected, the probe maintained a holding position on the outer edges of the system, and remained there for decades, drinking in the solar radiation, its computers occasionally activating themselves to update their star charts. Its creators long dead and its destination long lost, the only function this probe served now was as a forgotten vessel for a forgotten device, one that held a great danger at bay....but could do so for only so long.

The probe ship, able to propel itself effortlessly between the farthest stars, was a technological marvel itself, but it paled in comparison to the dark violet crystal secured inside of the small cabin. For this crystal was far more than just a glittering stone; it was, in fact, a key to another universe entirely, a prison-world created only to house the most dangerous of criminals. There, they would exist in a corporeal form, ageless and formless, until the power of the crystal would fade and release them. For the regular world, the years passed by as they always had. But when a day in the Phantom Zone seemed like an eon, the passage of time lost much of its meaning.

And so for decades, the tiny ship and its prison-within-a-prison continued its orbit, utterly forgotten by all.

Today, however, would be a day to remember.

As the probe made its rounds, the cabin which had remained dead and still for untold years came to life. The crystal began to glow from within, pulsing with purple light. This continued for over a minute, as the light pulsed faster and brighter. Cracks formed on the sides of the crystal, ruining the flawless facets. White light poured out from these cracks, and filled up the cabin. Were there anyone to see it, they would have been struck blind. The crystal shattered, sending a million shards careening through the cabin, before fading into nonexistence.

In its place was the Rogue Son of Krypton, looking every bit as resplendent as the day of his sentencing so long ago. Its sensors picking up life inside of it, the probe's life-support system activated for the first time, filling the ship with breathable air.

The Kryptonian felt a rush of incredible power surge through him. For years he had been absorbing the yellow sunlight that filtered through the Phantom Zone portal, but now that it was directly before him, his cellular structure gorged itself on the energy. The cramped cabin of the ship hindered his movement, especially since he was still wearing his ceremonial red and black armor, but considering he had gone so long without an actual physical body, he felt as if he were in a palace.

Too long had he spent inside that living hell, that ghost-world where the fools of the Council had banished him. Now that he was free, he would find a way to exact his revenge upon the man who put him there...he would find a way to bring justice to the house of Jor-El.

But first, the General needed to know where he was. Calling up the ship's navigational computer, he was shocked to discover how far away he was from the Mother World. He was, in fact, in an entirely different galaxy! He knew that if he were to return to Krypton, he would have to replenish supplies to his ship first.

Looking at the data for the nearby planets, he was dismayed to learn that only one planet in the system was even suitable for life. However, with such a negligible gravitational pull and such close proximity to a yellow sun, he could make this world an ideal base of operations while he regained his bearings. The General engaged the ship's manual controls, and set a course for Earth.

"At last," he mused to himself, "I will have my vengeance. If it takes me a hundred years, I will make the sons of Krypton kneel before Zod...."

The poison coursed through his veins, draining his might. He regretted that he would end here, and moreover, that he would die with a foe left unvanquished. An ignominious end for the god of thunder.

Then he felt... strong, again. Strength flooded into his bones. The poison, astonishingly enough, was obliterated by the sheer magical force that filled his being. His eyes snapped open, and in them shone a light that defied description. A moment later and it was past, but the feeling of strength remained. He stood, and saw an oddly dressed female holding her hands out, looking up at him with something like astonishment. Standing, too, was the Flash that he had met earlier, and another sorceror of some might that he had not met. Mordru, to Thor's amazement, was nowhere to be seen. He held out his hand, and his hammer Mjolnir flew into it, taking its accustomed place in his palm like an old friend. He then looked to the girl before him. She radiated magical power, unlike any being Thor had seen before.

"Who art thou, and where doth that villain be?"

Lex Luthor was making his way towards the exit of his research facility. He'd let Nathanson do his work on the assassin. Maybe he'd pay him another visit in a couple of days, see if he could learn anything more about him. That was one of the most important tools od scientific research. Patience.

Luthor took out his cellphone. He was going to contact Captain America. The last time he'd heard from him, they had just captured Fisk. Surely they would be arriving at Lexcorp at any time now. He dialled the number of the phone he'd given the Captain. Hopefully he knew how to use it.

The phone rang, but nobody answered. Luthor assumed that Captain America was still finding 21st Century technology a challenge. But as the phone continued to ring unanswered, Luthor began to grow concerned.

That phone distaracted me, I wasn't ready for Bullseye's attack as he collided into me.

Supes drops me as he takes a hit from RoboSupes. That thing again. Good. I'll show it a thing or two this time.

I think all this as I'm falling because Supes has dropped me. But I don't sweat it, I've fallen from much higher before. I slam into the ground, blowing a hole into the street I land in. As I start diggin' my way out, Superbot comes flyin' back and drive both fists into my face, putting me in the ground again.

It starts lifting back off, but I grab it's leg and yank, slamming it onto the street. I yank again, pulling it over my body and slamming it on the other side of me. It looks up from lying on its back and kicks me in the face. "Ha!" I laugh. "I ain't lettin' go this time!" I squeeze harder and hear a crunch as I imprint my fingers on its leg. I get another kick in the face, then a full blast of laser eyes. But I hold on.

The thing starts taking off, pulling me into the air with it. So I just hang on. It spins and dives, hits me with eye beams, trying to get me to drop. But I ain't lettin' this one slip away again. I pull myself up and punch it in the gut. And punch it again. And again. It throws a punch at my face, but I grab it's hand.

I pull down on the hand hard, doubling the thing over, let go of the leg, and uppercut it in the face. Its head snaps back and we begin to spiral down. Must have screwed up something inside with that last hit.

We hit the ground hard and go skidding into a delivery van. As we get up, I grab it by the back of the neck and smash its face into the ground. Then do it a few more times. Its face is scratched up pretty bad, but it still backhands me. So I use my fist to pound its face a couple of times. While it staggers, I pull both hands apart, then bring them together on Superbots head with a clap. It's head pancakes as sparks go flyin'. A couple of people run away screaming as the thing's head explodes. "Hey, it was just a robot." They keep running.

The robot falls to its knees, then lands on the ground hard. I spit on the body. "That's right. I'm the Juggernaut *****!"

Heh, always wanted to say that.

The Spider-Man robot attacks before I attack it. Flipping up into the air, It kicks me across the face, and pushes off of my chest as it backflips, and lands on a wall. I look at it, stunned. How could the robot have pulled that off? Who could've possibly duplicated this?!

My thoughts are cut short as The Spider-Bot raises his hand towards me, and fires...

...

Webbing?

I flinch as I'm covered in a thick, gray substance. I try to get out, but... I can't. It's bound my arms to the point where I can't even move them an inch. This is possibly the stickiest substance I've ever come across in my life... And I can still feel pressure, indicating that the false Spider-Man is still bombarding me with it.

Alright, Clark... Think fast... Think thorough, but fast... Oh, forget it, Just THINK...

Then, an idea pops into my head. Gum isn't as sticky when it's hardened, if I recall. Immediatley, with that in mind, I take a deep breath, and blow out a cloud of icy mist, freezing the webbing around me, until...

*SMASH*

My fist breaks through the substance, as I tear the hardened webbing apart, around me.

*THWIP*

I look up, seeing the Spider-Man robot swinging towards me. I sneer at it.

"Oh no you don't. Not this time..."

I push off of the ground, propelling me into the air at lightning speed as I grab the robot's foot, spin, and throw him into a car, mid-air. The heat behind my eyes increases, as the robot gets up. I fire at it, fully expecting to turn it into a puddle of liquid metal.

...Instead, It somersaults forward, out of the way of the beam as the carn is destroyed. I continue firing numerous blasts at it, but to no avail. He keeps flipping over and dodging them. He's as fast as the real Spider-Man, from what I've seen.

I finally get tired of firing beams at him. The most I'm doing is wrecking the street he's on.

...

Wait! This gives me an idea...

Flying higher up into the air, I stop, abrubtly, before dropping. As I drop, I increase my momentum... Until...

*SMASH*

I rocket into the street, sending a shockwave of energy at the robot. Being that he can't get out of the area in time, It hits him, and knocks him to the ground. Taking this opprotunity, I run at him, at full speed, before ramming my shoulder into him, sending him quite a few feet into the air.

Now's my chance...

Letting the heat swell up, once again, I grit my teeth as I fire a large blast at the robot, shattering it on impact. As bits of red and blue painted metal fly to the ground, I turn, and fly back towards the others.

As I do, I notice The Juggernaut spitting over the destroyed robot of me. I fly down, grab the body, and rip the 'S' off of it's chest.

"I'd rather you get your own, thank you.", I say, melting the symbol with my heat vision.

That's two down... two to go...

Elsewhere, high above the surface of the planet, an unidentified object came streaking into Earth's atmosphere, at speeds far too great to intercept. As the brass at NORAD and other installations scrambled for verification of the thing, which hadn't even been detected entering the solar system, the object screamed through the skies, drawing closer and closer to the Earth.

Unchallenged, this ball of fire broke through the clouds, leaving a trail of smoke in its wake, careening through the air over Eastern Europe, falling deep into the heart of the former Soviet States, before slamming into the Earth on the outskirts of a war-torn village in the desolate wastes of Pokolistan.

The impact sent a shockwave nearly a mile in radius, obliterating a nearby farmhouse and cracking the few paved roads in the area. The cloud of dust kicked up by the object's arrival blackened the already-gray skies for miles, and the crater it left was nearly thirty feet deep at the object's final resting place. Smoke and dust obscured the area for nearly an hour after the impact, and when local militia arrived on the scene to survey the damage, they were astounded to see that the object was gone.

-----

Miles away, Zod took a moment to compose himself. The deep-space probe was not suited for planetary landings, which meant the only way to achieve planetfall was quite simply to crash. To avoid the precious Kryptonian technology being captured by the inferior inhabitants of this world, he had to find a way to hide the ship.

While he still had the element of stealth from the obscuring smoke and dust, he recalled his lessons of Kryptonian physiology, how solar radiation fueled his cellular structure, gave him power to survive the harsh gravity of Krypton. He recalled the theory that, hypothetically, a Kryptonian could attain exaggerated, even supernatural abilities given a low-gravity environment and a powerful source of solar energy. He recalled the incredible rush of power he felt when receiving the yellow sunlight upon his escape from the Phantom Zone, and decided to put the theory to the test. Zod was as shocked as he was elated to discover that he could lift the spaceship over his head, with one hand, and take it with him!

Utilizing this incredible strength, Zod carried his ship far away to an uninhabited forest, and buried it deep underground. Now that his way home was safe, he would first observe the behavior of this world's inhabitants, and then draw his plans to conquer them.

The General was quite pleased with himself as he mused. "With these amazing new abilities, I would surely be more than a match for anyone on this world. I will be a titan, a demigod...a super-man...."

Torches cast an orange glow about his throne room. The light picked out the gilded edges of the jade banners that hung along the walls, celebrating his ascension. The long, red carpet, the only reminder of the previous ruler, led to a burnished mahogany throne, with a seat made of purple leather. Upon it sat Latveria's new ruler, lost in thought. His armor, a wander of the age were it to be made public, fed him information about the latest threat to his home. A plague of zombies, almost comical when he thought about it, had over ran Europe. On top of that, the weather had been acting very oddly for the past thirty minutes. However, this threat was nothing compared to the threat he had disposed of. The threat of Zorba. He sat, and became lost in his recent memories...

The carpet burned, flames licking and eating away at it like hungry vultures. The pathetic Latverian army was shattered under his heel, thanks to the army of advanced robots he had designed, and the monks that faraway Tibetan monastery had constructed. As he stood before the vast oaken doors to the throne room, he tought of his foray into the black arts of his parents. Of how the fool at the monastery had said he would never understand magic because his pride would not let him. He knew that the master had intended the grievous insult, and he had not let it stand. With a flash of black light, the master of the monastery had died by his hand.

But he knew that the black arts were not to be his way to power. They were too chaotic, too unpredictable, and though he had become as skilled in them as any man (and better than all, or so he thought), he would not truck with powers who believed themselves to be his better. So then, he had returned to Western science, in a matter of months becoming an unparalleled genius in all matters of science. With the teachings of Alexander the Great and Sun Tzu, he had devised a plan of attack. With the ruminations of Benito Mussolini, Chiang Kai-shek, and Adolf Hitler, he had developed a plan to rule. By his own towering intellect, he created the army with which he would conquer. The monks, acknowledging him as their new master, had aided him in the construction of his automaton army. They were potent, but each was only a fraction of his might, only a fraction of his mind.

Under cover of secrecy, the invasion had been launched. Within two days, the fighting had reached the capital. The ancient Latverian army cracked and buckled under his onslaught, finally giving away, and leaving him the doors to the throne room. Inside was Baron Zorba. The opulent ruler was beloved by the West and its infantile media. He held lavish parties, and was a personal friend to every ruler on Earth. But Doom knew the real Zorba. The Zorba who dined on delicacies his subjects couldn't dream of. The Zorba who let thousands die by starvation, and hundreds were killed at his whim. Unfortunately for Zorba, he had killed the wrong woman when he was young, and now his empire died in flames.

The doors to his throne room burst open, and Zorba, Baron of Latveria, quailed. Surrounded by flame, the conqueror stood, his green cloak swirling around him in the heat. He wore ancient armor, and his manner and bearing were unlike any Zorba had ever seen. Timidly, the ruler nodded at the cloaked man.
"So, it comes to this," said Zorba hoarsely. It was not the flames that made his throad dry, but rather the mere presence of the man that stood before him. "You are in the royal Latverian court, and you will tell your master who you are," said Zorba with as much confidence as he could muster.
The armored being had the gall to laugh as he strode up to Zorba. Whoever he was, he towered over the Latverian ruler. "Who am I, Baron? Your simple mind still does not comprehend?"
The voice was metallic and grating, and boomed out like the voice of God. Fear flew into Zorba's eyes. "Y-you do not address me as such! You-you barbarian! You crazed madman! Alien ships hover above the capitals of every nation and you lead a revolution! I'll have you hung!" shrieked Zorba. His mad face was met with a swift backhand from his opponent, a blow of such force that one of Zorba's teeth was knocked out.

"You will not address me as such, you murderous cretin. I am the master now. Your army is dead. No one is left in Latveria who will acknowledge you as their leader. They'd been fermenting rebellion for years, and you were blind to it. They merely needed a leader to throw off their shackles. That leader stands before you."
The mad fire that had lit Zorba's eyes fled as quickly as it had come, and the courage born of madness fled with it. "W-will you at least tell me, usurper, who you are?"

The man in the armor laughed. "Still haven't figured it out? I expected as much. Your end will not be as swift as the end you granted my mother. You will die slow, deep in the pits of this castle. You will die painfully, and I will be there every step of the way. I am your DOOM, little king, and I am come."
He snapped back to the present with a shock. Underneath his metal mask, he smiled. Zorba lived still, as he had promised. Also as he had promised, he had been witness to all of the torture sessions.

Zorba was merely the first step. The example. Through history, people would whisper in hushed tones of what was done to the first man to cross Doctor Doom, and Doom would not have it any other way.

I get ready for Bullseye's attack, ready to counter.

What the hell is that noise? I look down in one of my pouches. Its that wireless phone Lex gave me. Wait...Bullseye!

That phone distaracted me, I wasn't ready for Bullseye's attack as he collided into me.

As Cap slammed into the floor, Bullseye spotted a cell phone spin out of his pocket. "Well, well don't you heroes know to put yer phone on silent during battle? Infact, mines off right now." he picked it up and answered it.

"Hello? Lex Luthor eh? You wanna speak to Captain America? Give him a sec, I'll put him on." And with that, Bullseye threw the phone, lodging it down Cap's throat.

"Who art thou, and where doth that villain be?"

...it worked....and....

He want's my name?

"I am Zatanna." I said standing up.

"As for Mordru, I don't know. Flash punched him out pretty good. BUt he'll be back soon. His power is...."

I grew up around magic types, and yes even trained as one when I was younger. Call me a prodigal daughter who'd just learned the full extent of her powers. So I could sense how powerful this one was.

"Maybe you should rest a while and let me finish this with Druid." I said gently. Yes, he could talk after my healing spell, but could he fight. Also what good was physical fighting against magic?

Morph looked down on the duo in amusement. Such obvious amatuers. Lucky they had invulnerability or they would've been dead from the fall. Morph descended down on the ground and surveyed the scene.

"Hmm, robots eh? Any idea concerning who made your little metal friend here, or are we on our own?" he asked Stupes.

Morph didn't wait for a response. He walked over to the robot's broken body and began to examine the parts.

"I've seen this technology some where before..."
