“So where do I find Bullseye?”

"You're going to have to figure that one out. Finding Bullseye is what I'll be paying you to do, after all."

Luthor opened the door of the limo.

"Now if you'll excuse me. Since you killed my driver, I'm going to have to take a cab back to Lexcorp Towers."

I peer out the door as Luthor leaves.

“Does this mean I get to keep the limo?”

Bullseye smiled as Lex drove away. He was planning to simply kill him like Fisk had ordered should saving him fail, but maybe he should have a little fun with this Deadpool idiot first. Slinging his rifle over his back, he leapt down onto street level.

"Hey, buddy, looking for me?" Bullseye laughed drawing a knife. "Well looks like I found you first." he tossed the knife at Deadpool, it skimmed his arm, then bounced off of the all and back into Bullseye's hand.

"HA! Bulls--" Bulleye's jaw dropped open as Deadpool's wound healed before his eyes. He quickly raised the knife into a defensive position. "Okay, just what the hell are you?"

Uh oh........Looks like its time to kick it with all gears!.......wait didn't he say they were simply illusions?? Hmmmmmm......maybe I could distort the energy around them, make it so the illusion is taken away and we get to see what is REALY under there!

Alright, stand back......I'm gona try something!.......

I start charging myself up, I feel a larg energy blast tucked just right behind my eyes, then I realease it in a widespread blast covering all of these.......aquariums with feet???

ARRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHH!!

The blast is tremendous, even blinding! I wonder what we're gona see under there.

Mysterio drops his gun and so do the other Mysterios. He gets on his knees to search for his gun. He looks at the other Mysterios which have become more transparent. Something must have malfunction and they were all stuck in a loop of searching for their gun.

"No more games" he lifts up the gun, which was a M60 machine gun. "Too bad for you that this isn't an illusion" he starts to open fire.

Now that I know which one is really which, it's time to let him have it.

I stand right infront of him and the bullets just bounce off my chest, launching themselves in a bunch of different directions. Windows shatter as the bullets hit them, streetlights explode, people (who for some reason are still standing around watching us) start running for their lives. Two people fall, one getting hit in the leg, the other in their shoulder. I ignore them and grab the gun, squishing the barrel flat.

"Now what, Mr. Fishbowl?"

"No what, Mr. Fishbowl?"

Mysterio drops the crushed gun and backs up. He begins to hover and light gathers around him.

"Nobody mocks the all powerful Mysterio and lives" he puts both arms out and sprays knockout gas into the Juggernaut's face. "Feeling sleepy my giant idiotic friend"

"Eh, not really. See, I don't need to breath, and even if I did. That stuff ain't gonna do nothin' to me. But," I take a deep breath and blow the gas right back at him, "how about you?"

“Dude who are you? Spandex went out with the power rangers.”

So this is Bullseye. I thought I’d have to track him down, I guest he’s just made it easier for me.

Let’s see what haven’t I used yet pistol no, swords no. grenades no, sai yes. I pull out two sai’s and twirl them around a while, then I lunge forward to Bulleye hopping to stab him in the chest.

Bulseye threw the sai directly at Deadpool's, they connected and fell out of Deadpool's grip. Bullseye raised his fists. "Show me what you got."

The gas goes heads straight into Mysterio's face but nothing happens.

"HAHAHAHA you pathetic fool did you really think that could defeat me!". His fist begins to glow and pulls his fist back.

"Face the wrath of Mysterio!" his fist connects with Juggernaut's head. The hand expoldes on contact. Mysterio brings his arm back sans hand. Where is hand is suppose to be is just metal, sparks, and wires.

"Oh give me a ****ing break!"

I grab fishbowl's head in my large hand and squeeze it flat. An explosion of sparks and circuits shoot everywhere. I push the body over and stomp on it, crushing it.

"He's just another freakin' robot! Is there even a real guy somewhere?"

"NO!!!" I shout as Druid leaps onto Mordru. "Get back!" But it's too late. Druid and Mordru are tangled together in a battle of wills and power, one which Druid will not win.

I have to do something. Force Mordru into the portal. But doing so will certainly seal Druid away with Mordru. I can't consign him to that fate. But...Dammit! If I don't act soon, Mordru's going to escape. This is our only chance.

"Forgive me..." I whisper at Druid. I brace myself and spin my arms. Twin wrilwinds whip up. Faster and faster I spin, the winds ramping up with the effort, blowing against Druid and Mordru. Combined with the pull of the vortex, I can see them inching ever closer to the opening, the ground tearing beneath their feet.

Sweat pours down my brow, my arms feel like they are going to fall off, but I push. "AAAGGHGHHH!!!" I groan against the pain. But I force my arms faster still.

"Why. Won't. You. Fall?!?!"

The Dark Lord gritted his teeth as he fought against the pull of the vortex, the mage, Druid, and the new attack of the Flash. He was a being of pure mystical energy as old as time itself, and a Lord of Chaos. But, he was slowly losing this battle.

Twenty feet from the vortex. Zatanna's spell grew in strength and the pull of the portal was growing ever stronger. Mordru began to lose his footing and stumbled backwards.

They were fifteen feet away from the swirling portal, the winds from the Flash howling in their ears.
The Dark Lord growled in defiance and began to push back. Breaking one of his hands free, Mordru punched Druid in the gut and picked the wizard up by the throat.
Digging in the dirt to prevent getting sucked into the portal, Mordru spoke to Druid, "You think to beat me!? Little mage, you could not possibly hope to stop me! I am a god! You're feeble skills are no match for my dark power!"

Druid could not reply as the Dark Lord was crushing his wind pipe in his vice-like grip.
"Now little mage", shouted the Dark Lord to Druid as he yanked him closer to his face, "you die."

With that, Mordru tosses Druid over his shoulder and towards the vortex.

Mordru turned to face the Flash as the speedster continued and increased the power of his attack in a vain attempt to push the Dark Lord into the portal.
"Now Garrick, it's your turn to suffer", stated the Dark Lord flatly with a cold tone.
The Dark Lord raised his hand in line with the Flash ready to fire a killing blast.
But, at the last second, a group of vines and plant life wrap around his arm, causing the mystic blast to fire wide.

"What!?"

The one-word question is all Mordru can mutter before many other vines wrap around his body and shove themselves down his throat.
Behind him, on the edge of the vortex, is Druid. The mage is weak and beaten, but the fire still burns in his eyes. One arm was dug in the ground, keeping the wizard from getting sucked into the portal, while the other had been transformed into the vines that now attacked the Dark Lord.
"I will be damned if I allow a creature such as you to ruin my world, Mordru", said Druid as his hand holding him in place began to slip.
"If all it costs me is my life to rid this plane from the cancer that is you, then I will gladly pay it."

As Druid's grip began to slip farther, he turned to look at Zatanna. Druid cast a spell so that the young woman would be able to hear his words clearly, and, with compassion in his eyes, Anthony spoke.
"I am sorry, Zatanna. Sorry that I will not be able to continue your training. Sorry that I will not be there to see you grow into the mage I know you will one day become. Sorry that I will be unable to tell you more of your father."

Druid's grip was nearly gone, and the Dark Lord was being pulled in towards him with the help of the Flash's whirlwinds.

"Know this though, little one. Your father loved you with all his heart and soul, and still does. He could not be more proud of what you have become...and neither can I."

"Goodbye, Zatanna."

Druid's grip was lost completely, and both he and Mordru behind him were sucked into the portal. As the Dark Lord disappeared into the swirling vortex, the portal collapsed upon itself and disappeared into thin air.

The portal closes and I drop to my knees.

Is it over? Is it finally over?

My arms feel like they weigh a thousand pounds. I kneel there for several seconds, trying to catch my breath, get my energy back. Everything is so...quiet. After all the fighting, the winds whipping, the sound of the portal pulling...the silence seems so...loud.

I turn my head. The landscape is in shambles, even though some areas look almost untouched. Thor's cape lies on the ground, flailed and tattered, no longer covering his body, which is no where in sight. My heart sinks. He's dead. He's dead, and there was nothing I could do to save him. I hate this feeling. This feeling of...helplessnes.

I look behind me and see Zatanna. She looks unharmed, but the look in her eyes tells me she's in some sort of shock. I listen to the silence around us, afraid to speak, as I wonder how she's doing...

Zod poured over the poorly-organized stacks of books that the locals had gathered for him, as he sat alone in the large conference chamber of the Parliament building. Their methods of archiving information was beyond primitive, but the General did his best to quickly learn their archaic language and begin his studies on the one figure on this world who had piqued his curiosity.

After all, if there was another Kryptonian on this world, Zod would have to see if he could be made into an ally, or like the lowly aliens in Pokolistan, a slave.

The General read through several accounts of this "Superman," each of them containing amazing but scarcely detailed stories about his abilities (most of which Zod could confirm simply by doing them himself), and more incredulously, countless tales of this Kryptonian putting himself in mortal danger to rescue the inferiors with which he lived.

"How in the name of Merciful Rao can he lower himself to their level?" Zod asked to no one in particular. "To live as a servant to these insects, when he should live as a god? This could be....problematic..."

Zod was displeased. Were he to use his new army's strength to capture the resources in Russia, or make a move against Latveria to obtain the technology of their "Doctor Doom," surely Superman would act to stop him.

What was even more frustrating was that he could find no information in the humans' books about Superman's origin, his motives, or even his real name. Nearly all of the pictures included were blurred or out of focus, so he could not identify the face. Still, despite the pitiful quality of their photographs, Zod saw something familiar in Superman's face, something that sparked reactions in the back of his mind...but what?

As the General thumbed through another tattered collection of news clippings, he happened across a more recent photograph, one that showed this "Superman" in full focus. Zod stopped and looked closely at it.

The Kryptonian was well-built and clean-cut, a perfect product of the Mother World. He wore a suit that seemed to be his own design, but still kept many influences of Krypton's culture. What fixed Zod's eyes to the picture, however, was the large emblem that the Superman wore on his chest....

....the crest of the House of El....

"It can't be..." the General said. Zod was blind not to see it before...this "Superman" was the very image of Jor-El...

"Excuse me, General Sir?" It was Commander Volkoff, who went pale as the General looked up from the picture with an icy glare. "The, err, the line of Russian tanks has crossed into the border, and you said you would--"

"I am well aware of what I said," Zod said, rising from the table at which he sat. "Spread the word for our operatives to watch and record what they see on the battlefield. Tell our brothers in the glorious cause that I will cripple the Russian oppressor once and for all today!"

With that, Zod leapt into the air and burst through the roof of the building. His flare for dramatics aside, the General was envigorated. He would be able to exact his revenge on the House of Jor-El without even leaving this planet! How much sweeter it would be, then, to storm into the Council's halls, displaying little Kal-El's head as his trophy...

But first, he had to deal with the Russians and their toys.

"NO!" I lunge forward, my hand brushing the air as I grab for the now gone portal.

I stand there a moment in shock, so many things going through my mind. It was all over like...that. Just like that. I'd been dragged out of my home, my city, my dimension and now I was alone again.

I'd lost my father and...Druid, a man I resented. He'd been so kind to me, just like my father... I can feel the tears coming. It's not just him being gone..with him went everything I might have known about my father. Everything

"No! You can't do this! diurD nruter."

A soft breeze is the only movement as I watch the air for something..anything. The silence is deafening after the noises of battle.

"diurD nruter."

I look down, at my black skirt, now dirty from my travels. My gosh....I don't even know where I am, or what day it is....

I turn around and look the older man in red is kneeling on the ground his hands on the grass in front of him. The Blonde one had...gone in a flash of light, I'd seen him and felt a mystical force when it had happened, but under the strain of the spell I hadn't been able to see much.
I bit my lips, I don't even know how to get home.

Stop it. STOP IT!

I shake my head. I can't get involved in self-loathing or feeling sorry for myself I've got things to do.

I walk over to The Flash.

"Are you alright?" I kneel down next to him.
"Do you need help?"

He stood over the still unassembled robot. He regarded it with a cold eye, looking at the exposed circuitry, and the as yet unassembled chassis. The metal face glared at him lifelessly. The robot would be his master stroke, his grandest plan yet. In one fell swoop, Doom would reveal his true power to the world and the nations would quail at his coming. The robot was the first step, the first block in the foundation that he would create.

He walked to a nearby metal stand, covered with schematics and diagrams. On them was the potential, the necessary pieces to Doom's grand designs. He had discovered them in the hous of the fool Ivo, one of the few intellectuals that had considered himself equal to Doom. Doom had taken the schematics, and improved upon them. His standard robot had vastly more intelligence than that fool's primitive AI, and the energy converters originally designed for his armor increased the robot's durability a thousand fold.

It would be his crowning achievement. His grand project. His Amazo.

He smirked as he studied the parts that lay before him.

"Servants! Come to me!"

An old man in a purple hat and robe appeared before him. He was Boris, one of the last people from Doom's gypsy troupe. "What is it you wish, Lord von Doom?"

"The time has come. Send notice to Hayden that Doom requires his services. One of the robots should suffice, as it will be immune to the effects of his mask. Also, send one of our agents to the Daily Planet in Metropolis. I am inviting Lois Lane and one companion of her choice to Latveria, where they will see the glory that is Doom."

Boris nodded, turned, and left, leaving Doom to his ruminations.

Hayden returned to his new apartment. He sat the sack down and begun to count the money. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Hayden looked at the clock which read 1:46 am. Who would knock on his door at this hour? A better question would be who knows he was here?

"Hold on just a second" he grabs a knife from the drawer. Another knock comes from the door heavier then the last one.

"I said hold..." the door burst open and there stood a man covered in steel armor. He wore a green cloak and he was looking right at Psycho Pirate.

"Roger Hayden" said the being in a metallic voice.

"You're scared. You want to run from this apartment and not look back" the mask became a face of terror but it seemed to have to effect.

"Roger Hayden, the Psycho Pirate your services are requested"

"Yeah by who" asked Psycho Pirate. He was a little frighten himself. Why didn't the mask work?

"Victor Von Doom"

I kneel down and hold Thor's cape in my hands. He was just here, and now he's gone. Is that what happens when...well...when gods die? My brain can't take this much at one time. It's been so long since something like this has happened to me, to someone I fought alongside.

The silence is broken when Zatanna calls out. I watch as she tries to bring Druid back. I allow myself a little hope that she'll be able to do it. And I'm actually a little surprised when nothing happens.

She walks over and joins me.

I look Zatanna in the eye. For the first time I realize just how young she is. But there's a strength there. I can't put my finger on it, but something about her is much more than any ordinary young woman. And I don't mean just her powers. There's a wisdom there, a potential.

I'm not sure why, but she reminds me of Dinah.

"Were you...were you two close?"

I twist my mouth in an ironic smile as I tilt my head and lift my eyebrows.

" And he was the one who drug me into something I hate." I stand up and brush myself off.

"Now I have to come to terms and live with it."

I look around again and sigh.

I put my hand on her shoulder. "I realize we don't really know each other, but you seem like a good person to me. And you have a real gift, those powers of yours. You have the ability to help so many people."

"Listen, I know some other people with gifts like ours. People who want to use their abilities to help others, to keep people safe. We've already done some good work, but we could always use more help. If you want, I can take you to meet some of my friends. We're putting together a sort of...team where we can help one another as much as we help others. Maybe...maybe we can help you too."

(IC: Superman)

I've stood by for long enough.

Without even considering the possibility that it's another illusion, I burst into the area with my speed, grabbing the timer, and leap into the air, as I begin flying into the sky.

I look back at the timer. My eyes widen.

10...

I stop, miles above the city skyline, looking up towards the sun.

9...

I take the timer in my hand.

8...

I pull my arm back.

7...

I level my aim.

6...

I close my eyes, hoping this works...

5...

With all of my might, I hurl it into the air, bracing myself...

4...

3...

2...

...

Nothing happens. I look up, seeing the timer floating in mid-air. Then... it disappears. You have got to be kidding me... Another illusion?

I look back down at the area where Sentry, Morph, and Juggernaut stand. This is, at best... a frustrating set of circumstances. This 'Mysterio', as he calls himself, is playing games with us.

I fly back down to the area, hitting Mysterio with a blast of my heat vision. It explodes, signifying that it's another robot. I land, with my eyes still glowing red.

"I don't care how many of you I have to destroy before this becomes redundant... But either way, 'Mysterio'... You're not going to be able to hide for long."

Dude’s got a point, besides I’ve already fought Electro_UK once already.

“Work’s for me. Luthor was heading to Lexcorp towers; I think they’re keeping Stay-Puft there.”

I look over to Luthors abandoned limo and put the drives cap back on. “I’ll drive.”

Lex Luthor stepped out of the cab at the entrance of Lexcorp Towers. Daredevil and Captain America were waiting for him. They looked confused as to why he had arrived in a cab, and not his limo. Luthor put on his best expression of blind terror as he stumbled towards them.

"Deadpool!" he exclaimed, "Deadpool escaped!"

He stumbled forward into Captain America's arms, as if his legs had given out from under him.

"I...I...I went to the research facility we were holding him in. I...I hoped he could tell me about Fisk's criminal dealings, how he got hired. Extra information to help bring Fisk down. But...oh God....he escaped. He killed my driver, threatened to kill me...I...I can't believe I did this..."

He hesitated, as if deeply ashamed of what he was going to say.

"I...I bribed him. I offered to pay double the money Fisk was paying him to track down Deadpool. I'm sorry, Steve. I had no choice. He was going to....to kill me! It was the only thing I could think of. But don't worry. I have no intention of giving money to a killer. While he was at the research facility, he had a tracking device inserted under his skin. Hopefully, Deadpool will lead us to this...Bullseye character, and you'll be able to capture them both."

Luthor straightened his tie, as if regaining his composure. Not that he'd ever really lost it.

"Now, where is Wilson Fisk? I think it's time I talked to him..."
