Honestly, I loved the way they had the two flashbacks and then had the opening title sequence. Seeing the cure devolped was amazing and then the Cerebro doors closing, I loved it!

What did you think?

Ye i liked the opening, but i did miss the narration in the beginning. the younger scenes worked for me and my friends. it helped people follow new phoenix storyline too.

Yea me too. Angel's was icky, but Jean's was awesome!

I didn't hate it but I would have liked some Xavier monologue.

I thought the music when Xavier and Magneto arrived at Jean's place was a bit ... disney like or so. it didnt work for me. But the opening title sequence was great!

No I hated it. Didn't make it feel like the other 2 movies.

Loved it. Great visuals and music.

Even without the voice over, I loved it. It went from that *gasp* Angel scene BAM! right into the opening titles, loved it.

I loved it, too!!! I think it was the best opening of the trilogy!!! Just how they went into Angel, then showed the cure, BANG, the cerebro doors close and it quickly zooms into the Danger Room....The most intense opening ever!!!  The crowd was like Oh crap!!!

I was so happy to see the Cerebro doors closing. I swear, I was about to go dancing in front of everyone.

people in my second showing of the movie were really into what the hell young angel was doing to himself. my granny said "what the siht is he doing to himself". people got the message of what some mutants like angle felt with that one scene!

i did kind of miss charles monlague. but the opening was good!

I was missing it too, but then I thought how much I liked the fact that it sort of seperated the past and the present. Also, it would have been weird if all the sudden there was a slow paced, narration in the middle of the exciting CGI intro.

Also since they did flashback scenes...2 of them..the opening would have been a little crowded i think. with prof x, then jeans story, young angel, then opening credits

It was great!!!!!!!!

you are the new spam king. I swear every post of yours I see is:

"Awesome"

" "

"I know!"

"That rocks"

etc,...:p

I really liked it... It went along with the others well. The flashbacks, in my opinion, worked in the same way as Xavier's monolgue - it briefly describes the conflict. It was innovative and well done. We got the cell, CGI stuff, and the cerebro doors. It was great!

I liked it, but I think that there should have been a monologue at the end to complete the story..

I didn't hate it but I didn't like it either. I wish that it had the Xavier monologue. Also, I wish the intercut images of the scientists with beakers and the DNA footage didn't remind me of Hulk. The Cerebro door was cool though.

I liked the opening of the film. The film started to go a little hawire when they first introduced the President.

The flashback scene with Xavier and Mags, was very reminicent of the first two films. The flashback scene with Angel was both disturbing, and saddening, and was very reflective of the first two films.

When they got to the scene with the President, the movie felt totally akward. Why didn't they get the same guy from x2 to be President? First off that guy actually appeared Presidential on screen. Second of all, it would have been logical for him to appoint a mutant to his cabinet, given the closing scene in the Whitehouse in X2.
