He sounded like Eeyore. I would have never guessed it was him and like I said my jaw dropped when I saw his name on the screen. My Hubby was like, 'who's that?' Good thing for him he was on the other end of the couch and there were a couple of kids between us.t:t:

Loved watching OP on the big screen! His first transformation and speaking scene gave me chills, he was awesome everytime he was on screen. I would like to have seen a longer battle between Prime and Bonecrusher, also the rumored battle between Prime and Barricade would have been a good one to watch, even more of the final toe to toe match between he and Megatron would have been great, hopefully this will all happen on the IMAX extended version or DVD, love Prime!

I agree, everytime he spoke the hair on the back of my neck stood up, it was just hearing that voice and OP's actions in the movie, like his compassion for humans, especially Sam and Mikaela.

Peter Cullen certainly has "The Touch"! To think he was just another voice actor in the '86 animated film, not a featured celebrity. Now he has gained iconic status!

I've never been too fond of Prime, but I'm getting more into him now because of this new movie.

I know, it was a great idea, as it IMMEDIATLY got me into the movie.

While i did love this movie, i'll agree that OP and Cullens voice were a big factor in its success.

I've never been too fond of Prime, but I'm getting more into him now because of this new movie.

Prime has always been my favourite TF and in this movie he just rocked IMO. Sure he looked different, but the character was just the same, noble and compassionate. I honestly cant wait to see more of him on the big screen in the sequel.

AVEITWITHJAMON, yeah the best thing they did at the start of the movie was having OP speak, it got everyone into the movie right off the bat, and of course having Peter Cullen doing the voice was just a tip of the hat to all the hardcore fans.

Oh i agree, i just wish he had worn his faceplate more though, seeing his full face was a bit strange, but no biggie.

I want to see him fight Megatron more in the follow up, one reason is to avenge the death of Jazz, (I hope they bring Jazz back), the one in this movie was awesome but I hope it is longer next time.

Agreed on all accounts, Jazz needs to come back and Optimus and Meg's need to have a fight in a place were OP can really cut loose, in other words, a place with little to no humans.

Yeah, i liked watching them fight in the city, but it just limited Prime's actions IMO.
