Yes that was my very first reaction too. I was with the fiance and then she asked me how I felt when Heath Ledger showed up with a disfigured face and White paint instead of the traditional look, and then I realized that I'm completely okay with this new take. It's bold, it's different and yeah some of the tattoos are cheesy, but Joker is a psychopath, I'd like to see the story behind these tattoos. Also, imagining that he doesn't have teeth because Batman punched them out is kind of bad ass. :woot:
 
the eyes bulge out way too much. and not in a scary way either, it just looks lame

but you know what? DCCU has already screwed up with Man Of Steel and picking Eisenberg for Luthor still doesn't work for me so I'll just have to come to terms with DCCU not being the greatness I wished it would be. keeping that in mind, I can actually be really excited to see what the heck this Joker is gonna be. I believe in Leto's ability to play a great Joker at least, but with a director who might just take a whole new direction with this, it could literally be anything

this is DCCU in a nutshell: trying to be gritty and weird to attract attention instead of trying to be good

I think its amazing. I'm surprised many people are against it. I mean, you guys want DC to be great so have a littledamn faith in it. Support the actors and the character designs. Because they may just end up being the greatest comic book adaption you've ever seen.
 
I don't mind the tatoos, though the teeth look a little wierd to m. Either way, I just want to see the suit.
 
Suit is probably white judging by the purple glove.

The tattoo on his forehead should read 'Ruined' instead of 'Damaged.'
 
Joker needs a new tattoo, one on his tongue, text: "I'M BATMAN"
 
Watched Age of Ultron this evening. And wow! It was so much better than I expected it to be after having read mixed reviews. I'm so happy for this movie and right now it holds as one of my favourites, definitely top 3 if not number one.

Absolutely love Ultron and Joss' take on him. I honestly think Joss upped the game in this film in every single aspect from the first Avengers. Cinematography, story telling and presentation, writing, building characters, setting up the future films, everything! I would watch the film again right now if I could!

The writing is so good! Now I really hope Joss writes or helps write the Spider-Man reboot!

Glad you loved it. Ultron is the cream dela cream of MCU villains
Was Ultron based on Tony Stark's brainpatterns in it like comicbook Ultron was based on Hank Pym's? I don't remember that being mentioned or anything
 
Which of you guys listened to metal again? Just wondering since I found a new amazing band I've been listening 24/7 this last week

It's nu metal with a jamaican lead singer. The compositions have a lot of jamaican flavor as well and the songs have both swaying melody based portions and also brutal face punching groove riffs. Here's my favorite song at the moment (If you're after that brutal sweet spot, it comes after the first parts of the song)

I listen to metal. I'm not into nu metal though but I'll check it out :)

EDIT: Not a big fan of the riffs, but I like the singer!
