They really did Agent Venom well in Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon imo.

I liked it as well, particularly Slott's take on Morales and the Ultimate Spidey from the cartoon. However, I loathe Ramos's "art". Just......ugh. And Dan Slott is anything but consistent with comics. I wish Waid or Bendis replace him in the near future.

...just kidding, I haven't even seen those episodes. But I don't believe the show is capable of such a tall order as giving justice to any source material counterpart

It was okay, nothing great at all but not that bad.

I will say I found Flash to be a bit too obnoxious, even when he had the Symbiote on him.

Yeah, they did portray him as a bit annoying. But the origin seemed abit well executed. The design was nice. It wasn't the best thing ever but it wasn't bad. It was just decent. And pretty cool imo.

figured about as much

I'm just saying that the high school Flash isn't even close to deserving the symbiote yet. that's why the concept of him as Agent Venom in that show is way bellow okay even before I've seen a second from the episode

Dear god my heart. I wanted to cry, but I'm literally emotionally incapable of performing the task.




As for USM's Venom. He may not be a war hero like in the comics. But he's just as inspired to be a hero. He was a bully, a bad guy. He's also basically nowhere near as cool as he makes himself out to be. He lives in a literal dump. Then the entire Rhino incident(Rhino is one of the guys Flash bullied) when he realized bullying had a bad effect. So being the Spider-Man lover that he is he tries to become a hero himself and makes his own Spider-Man suit. But realizes he doesn't have any powers quickly when he is put in the line of danger and Spider-Man rescues him.


Then the Venom Symbiote comes. Usually bonding through the force of someone vengeance and anger, it was stragely overcome by flashes drive to be good. To do good and make up for his past jerk actions. Thus Agent Venom the hero was born.


While he may not be as worthy as the War Hero he was based upon. He is worthy in a sense he wants to make a difference, just like the war hero. And that's why I like this Flash Thompson. He is just as worthy of being called Agent Venom.


But that's just my thoughts. :P
 
What issue did that image come from? The one with Dr. Doom holding Flash dressed as Spidey.
 
guys, I've been cartooning a lot lately and I've noticed I have difficulty to hold a pen now, any advice for getting a better pen grip? I have googled it, but I figured there's probably a lot of artists around here so I might as well ask you people too
 
I don't think it's possible to write how to grip a pen better. You can look up videos. Need a visual aid, I'd say this look up how to use Chop Sticks and try holding your pen like that.

PS. I'm an artist myself.

hold em like chop sticks huh? sounds like a thing that might work

is that supposed to work right away or is it achievable by gradual practice only?
