Really? I thought the trailer was great, actually did it's job and got me even more hyped up for the movie. Can't wait! :woot:

Yeah I agree with you I thought the batman super man trailer was great! I am still iffy about the movie because I am wored it is going to be all action and no substance and I still don't know about ben as batman and the guy that is playing lext. With that said though the music gave me chills and the batman suit looked amazing. Star wars on the another hand I am very underwhelmed. I think the star wars trailer is very overrated. We are like a year away form batman superman and I fell like I know more about that movie then I do about star wars even though star wars is about 8 months from coming out. I am very iffy about star wars because of how bad episode 1 and 2 where and nothing so far has blow me away like I am hoping for. So to me right now batman looks better then star wars. Hopefully the next star wars trailer shown more and gives you a better idea what the movie is going to be like.

So that BVS trailer...pretty boring.
I understand some of you being unimpressed by the Star Wars trailer yesterday, but this really was just..meh.
None of the teasers impress.
But it's nice to finally see Bat's suit in motion.

A lot of DC fanboys in yt comments are overreacting lol.Its an ok teaser and some of the shots look great but I wouldn't be getting overly hyped for the film after seeing it

I'm not surprised Howard the ducks up there. For nearly every marvel comic I got in around March the free digital code was for Howard the Duck #1:whatever:

Why does everyone hate "One More Day"? It was dramatic, heartfelt, a clear story nothing too confusing. It took away that whole Peter revealed his identity bullcrap from Civil War. Saved Aunt May, and people act like they would never allow MJ and Peter to be together again after it.

It was just a bad story that wasn't really needed. The lesser of two evils, if you will:

Aunt May dies, but Peter (who is now known everywhere in NY as Spider-Man) and MJ can have a daughter. Aunt May lives, and the long marriage of Peter and MJ is erased, also adding such a time jump where Harry is still alive and what-not.

One credit I will give to the story is that the art was great.

Because he wants to save his aunt from a bullet wound by a sniper who shot her because he revealed his id to the world.
Unfortunately, it has a stupid part about what he could have been if he chose to overlook the responsibility that accompanies the power that was unnecessary to the story, how much of an old lonely jerk he could have been.
Then the little girl subplot who ends up being a delusion (Mayday Parker died).
And then the frustrating marriage cancellation, cause "Married people age fast", but at the same time Batman had his son as the sidekick to his first sidekick playing Batman, as if having a sidekick does not age characters in comics.

People liked Peter and MJ's marraige. It was something unique in the comics world. Then some editor (I forget who) decided to take his own issues with marraige out on Spidey and concocted a story which involved our hero making a deal the THE FREAKING DEVIL to bring back his aunt who was perfectly happy in the afterlife anyway! It made Peter look extremly selfish and took away one of the most beloved aspects of the Spiderman mythos.

If you were in Peter Parkers position would you make the deal? That's the way I took it. I'd make the deal.

The BvS trailer was indeed boring.

I feel the same. And very much like the Star Wars teaser, I feel fans overreact to it like it's the best thing ever in a way that makes me feel they'd react exactly the same no matter what the teaser would be like. I mean, it's all about taste obviously, but really? I love Batman and I like Superman, but this looks like yet another style over substance Zack Snyder film. Also, hearing Jessie as Lex was very unimpressive.

And, not to be THAT guy, but I can't help but feel that some people are overreacting because of a little bit of inferiority complex over the movies (hey DC can too!).

Meh, I don't know. I don't blame the fans and after all it's all subjective. I just don't see what's so great about that specific trailer. I'll very likely react the same way though whenever there's a Spider-Man trailer out there.

The trailer is unimpressive, but not boring.
I love Man of Steel, and think it is a strangely underrated movie.
But the teaser makes me think this Batman might be a jerk, I hope he's not that much of a jerk in the movie, and I hope Zack Snyder did NOT take advice from the writer of All Star Batman & Robin

If you were in Peter Parkers position would you make the deal? That's the way I took it. I'd make the deal.
Really? Personally, I would never trade my loving wife for the life of my aged aunt who was perfectly happy staying dead in the first place.

In other news, how do you all feel about the new F4 trailer?

I agree. I've been guilty of it in the past but the reaction to the teaser has been very nerd-gasmy. I'm an equal fan of either Batman or Superman and honestly there wasn't anything in that trailer that 'spoke to me.' It was all just 'cool-looking' shots pieced together like Batman standing there while Supes landed in a cool-looking pose. Maybe I'm just getting old or I've seen soooo many of these teaser types of trailers that the effect they're supposed to have on me has worn off. I dunno. I DO know however that Lex's voice as well as Bat's voice were unimpressive. And like you, I fear this may be yet another Snyder style over substance film. It's so far off but I'm wondering if this will be 2016's ASM2. Hyped to be this mecca but ends up being a major disappointment.

Pretty much sealed the deal for me. In that im not gonna watch it, I mean

Man the new trailer for Jurassic world looks amazing! I really don't get the negativity around this movie. The movie looks fantastic and ever trailer looks better and better my expectations are pretty high right now. Now star wars my expectations are low like really low. Star wars 1 and 2 where really really bad and after 2 trailers for star wars 7 we still haven't really seen any thing like at all and I am wanting something to blow me away and I have yet to see any thing that just makes me say wow. I fell like people are really overrating to star wars trailer just because it is star wars and I think people would react to it no matter what because it is just star wars. Its crazy that we have had 4 trailers in the last few days for Jurassic world, star wars 7, F4, batman vs superman. From best to worst in the 4 trailers I would go like this.

1. Jurassic world- Just looks great the more and more I see the more I think it is going to blow away Jurassic park 2 and 3.
2. Batman vs superman- I am iff about this movie because I am wored it is going to be all action with no substance and ben playing batman but with that said the teaser for a teaser looked great. The music gave me chills and the batman suit looked amazing!
3. F4- while the original 2 F4 movies where not good this trailer didn't look half bad.
4. Star wars 7- I am very very iff about this movie because like I said we still really now nothing about this movie and how bad episode 1 and 2 where and the trailers have done nothing for me at all so far.

Jurassic World is the most meh movie of 2015 for me. and I thought it was gonna be my favorite

Fantastic Four: the first trailer looked incredible. the second one makes the movie look closer to something that's assembled by a focus group

Star Wars VII: can't express how good it looks so far

Hey guys, OriginalMiles and I had a little talk about the Turkish Captain America movie, and I came up with a story on a whim.

Details

OriginalMiles said:
Heard of 3 DEV ADAM?
Spider-Aziz said:
3 Giant Men?
Yeah
Spiders are evil

OriginalMiles said:
Amazing movie.

Spider-Aziz said:
You like it?

OriginalMiles said:
I hope to see it recreated in the MCU someday.

Spider-Aziz said:
It will be part of Civil War
Spidey on the side of Evil Tony
And Cap has the obligation to stop them
The movie ends with Spidey making a mouse find his way through Tony's face
NOM NOM NOM NOM
And then the Ultimate final battle between Spidey and Cap ensues
But Spidey breaks Cap's back
And after that, Spidey feels he lost the need to be evil, he loses interest
Cause his arch nemesis falls down
Dies from the broken back
And the tossed shield not hitting Spidey's head
Cause Spidey-Sense
Spidey uses the chance to let the ricochet shield cut Cap's neck
Spidey does plastic surgery now that he lost interest in fighting superheroes
And he ends up looking like Dylan O'Brien
And takes up acting
Signs up for the Maze Runner trilogy
And Thanos tries to conquer the world in infinity war
But cap's shield continues the ricochet
It hits Thanos teeth, and his jaw drops
The infinity gems and gauntlet turn to dust
And the shield is now motionless on the corpse of Thanos.
Story ends, Spidey saves the Universe without him knowing
And he thinks of the heroes as a bunch of show off phonies
Feels bad for the death of Cap and Tony
Then remembers the chaos they caused, but not his part
And he says "On second thought, the world best forget them"
In that duration he doesn't think one bit of his Aunt May missing him
Cause she died months before Civil War
After he poisoned her with a blood transfusion
His radioactive blood killed her real fast
And she was a frail 89 years old woman
She couldn't hold the pain long enough to be a golden oldie
A Spider-Woman on life support
Calling herself Madame Web

Thoughts?

Avengers - Age Of Ultron review:

The trailers for this movie were some of the best movie trailers ever, but we've all been burned by that kind of thing before so I remained cautious. And while Age Of Ultron wasn't even close to a burn, it wasn't a second lightning in the bottle either. It had higher highs than Avengers 1 in my book, but the pacing was just a little too jumbled. But how about the bad guy?

ULTRON

Even if you've seen something like the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon, Ultron will surprise you. I do admit, it's entirely a taste thing whether it's a good or a bad surprise, but I for one fell in love with the characters quirks. Joss made the character his own certainly. Compared to previous incarnations (or at least the ones I'm familiar with), this Ultron is a lot more 3-dimensional when it comes to personality. At first some of the early Ultron scenes were a little jarring, but when I cought on to how layered Ultron was, it all clicked. Such a disturbingly charismatic villain, I couldn't believe Disney let an MCU villain have this much morbid edge. James Spader's voice and mo-cap performance rivals that of Heath Ledgers Joker, though James Spader probably wont be as remembered for the role because Age Of Ultron wont be on par with TDK since that was almost a cultural phenomenom. This almost makes me afraid for Thanos since he's supposed to be the big ultimate villain and he just seems a little generic and flat compared to Ultron

In a nutshell: Good performances all around, plenty of character development for everyone (except the Maximoff twins, Quicksilver & Scarlett Witch), and an eerie tone but with the uplifting comicbook spirit in the mix that made Avengers 1 work in the first place. So my final rating is 9/10 (I do use desimals in my ratings, if that gives any perspective).

PS. No after-credits scene, and the middle credits scene is just a total bore, even if you've liked all the other ones. The good thing is, it comes after the awe inspiring 3rd act after which I didn't even care

As I said in the other thread, great review. It's short and to the point. Even though you gave it a 9/10, I won't have too high hopes going into it due to the rather mixed reviews I've read. I don't doubt though that I will have a good time watching it.

I wouldn't worry about Thanos though. The directors for those films have proven to be great (though unproven in the team kind of films so far). Also, Marvel knows the stakes are high and that Thanos can't be another generic destroyer kind of villain.

Thanks a ton! Yeah, I'm just a sucker for superhero films with eerie tones, and most of those straight to dvd animated movies so this is pretty refreshing.

And about Thanos, my biggest problems with him are mainly the design and voice. His expressions and facial features look just a little too maintained for the mad titan. And the voice at least in guardians of the galaxy was too muffled and lacked resonance. I'd prefer if the mixed it less

I could be proven entirely wrong, and I really really hope I will be. But as it is now, I'm not terribly excited

My computer is acting up, I had to format the damn thing. My PC is GREAT, but I think I made a mistake keeping my old hd and installing with it.

Anyway, another day, another scoop by Jeff Sneider:

Hugh Jackman’s ‘Wolverine’ Lands ‘Blade Runner 2’ Writer Michael Green (Exclusive)

Also, have you seen this?

I think I like it!! What do you think?
