The Dark Knight Packages from the Dent campaign

A few people over at Unforums are reporting that they received packages full of swag from the Dent campaign via FedEx yesterday:

Hmm... I wonder what prompted that? It seems like the materials inside the package are the same as being given out at the Dentmobile stops, except there's a letter from the Dent campaign attached.

Interesting. I wonder how many people were in their photos/videos? Maybe they send the packages to large groups. I also wondered if maybe that was sent to people who live far away from Dentmobile stops, but one of those links said something about the Dentmobile coming to their Portland location so.... My #1 theory is that it goes to large group photos/videos.

I would just imagine that they would do that if they decided to put the videos up on the website.

How are they assigning rankings to the pics anyway? What makes one pic a gold, and another one nothing? Do you think it's just completely random? I mean over the last couple of days I've submitted 3 pics, they've all been posted, and I've had 3 e-mails stating I'm from South Hinkley (Downtown) - I only mention that because I theory was muted earlier that your location dictated your ranking, or something like that.
I've just checked the raking section, and found that one of my pics got Silver...what does this mean? Anyone? Anyone...

I don't think that anyone knows what the rankings mean. I made it into the bronze category and I was wondering the same thing. A promo package would be really sweet.

Another person at UNfiction got a package, and he's located in Massachusetts. I figure that I'd be one of the first to get a package via FedEx, but who knows...

I already got my shirt, so I'm not all that bothered if I don't get anything. Is anyone here a member of UNfiction so I can ask if using that photo of the letter for the Wiki would be okay?

Or heck, I guess I might as well do it myself.

Perez has always promoted "The Dark Knight" and Batman stuff when the chance arose. His site has quite a bit of traffic and is very influential. Just smart marketing to send him one.

If you go to the "You In Action" page on the Dent site, you'll find three photo sections next to the map of the Gotham voting precincts. They are labeled: Friends, Patrons and Supporters of Dent.
