On dvd of course, right?:yay: Since that's how you see all your movies.

yeah, probably.

Only thing that caught my attention was the last 30 seconds of the last movie and the guy stomping around like its the middle of the night.

Oh and of course the dog seeing the "dead" Katie

No doubt people will get this one up again, like the first one. But the people who were tricked the first time, won't be for a second time.

Nobody was tricked. It was pretty obvious it was a marketing ploy to get butts in the seats. I mean, if you actually thought it would be the scariest movie of all time...then you deserved to be "tricked".

I mean I'll most likely see it on DVD but who knows. I saw the first one in theaters so I may see the second one there too. It's more fun when you see it with other people.

when I say tricked i mean all the good reviews it was getting from all the genre sites.

Oh and trust me there are a lot of people who feel tricked.

I'll see it on dvd, but that's about it, maybe even know that, if you get my drift. I mean i saw the first in theaters and if you look back at the start of this thread I was excited to see this, but I'm sorry all the good reviews couldn't help me like it.

I mean why is there camera's outside the house recording? It looks like its pretty high up, mounted on something.

I don't know, anymore, i don't know.

The teaser showed shots of the outside of the house. Two theories one it's some rich guys house and those are security cameras (Because the shots inside the house are also from high up) or some demon hunter is hunting for the demon and put those up.

what camera outside the house?
There was a shot and it looked like they were outside in the backyard or something. Or atleast that's what I thought it was.

I think it looks more like surveillance camera around the place or something. like the people who live there have money and whatnot.

And whats with the Ghost Baby?

I found the first one entertaining enough to see the second one. As many discovered though, it was far from the scariest movie I've ever seen. That still goes to The Blair Witch Project. For some reason that movie just hit like a core fear of mine.

Reviews are opinions, how can you feel tricked by someone's opinion? They liked what they saw, so that's what they wrote. However, in the end, your opinion differed. I just don't see how you or anyone else was tricked here.

Here's the audio that was at the end of the trailer. Wonder if this is all going to lead to an ARG.

'Paranormal' Teaser Too Scary for Theaters? Easter Eggs Hiding Within?

ren Peli's Paranormal Activity is regarded as one of the scariest films of all time, now the teaser trailer for the sequel is already being removed from theaters across the country after freaking out parents, and their kids. Reports have flooded in that the teaser has already been pulled from theaters in Plano, TX and Harker Heights after various complaints from parents who took their teens to the midnight showings of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last night. Let us know if you hear anything from your local theater. In other news, Bloody Disgusting users have discovered disembodied voices and imagery hiding within the teaser that tease "What is happening to Hunter?" A dog barks, the baby vanishes. The question is, which of the two is Hunter, and why is he important? Discuss below. Directed by Kip Williams, and starring Katie Featherston, Paranormal Activity 2 hits theaters on October 22.

Words cannot explain how I feel. Except for this WHAT!?!!!!!!!:cmad:

Damn, I knew people were stupid as hell! But this is taking it to a whole other level. Nothing happens in it, scary how!? what a dog? a rocking chair? That chick that pops up at the end of the trailer?! WHAT?!:csad:

I must have missed it since I didn't notice it.

Well as someone who saw it last night, many of the girls screamed at the beginning with Micah thrown at the camera then Katie poping out then the girl at the end. But that's it.

But what was funny is that they showed PA2 right after the Harry Potter trailer. The change of the screams was hilarious.

I guess i may see this in theaters, the first one was good and my lady had to watch it in the day with me.

Apatow:

Giving your opinion is fine and good, but to repeat the same thing over and over (how you were lied to, how the movie sucks, etc) and to call people who were scared by the movie idiots is trolling. Please stop.

What is what I'm doing any different then anyone else on here?

I see people do the samething all the time in almost about every other horror thread. But that's okay, I know why. When there's a film alot of people seem to like, its not going to say something. But if its a movie not alot of people like IE. Halloween 2 or NOES 2010 its okay to say the same things.

But that's cool, cause you know what you people can just have this thread. I see how it works now on the hype. I've been here 5 years and I should know how it works now. I'll say nothing, and let the others do the "trolling"

Gotcha you there bro.:woot:

Edit: When I was saying that one rant, it was towards the people in the midnight screenings of Twilight. From the article I had posted. The people who thought it was too scary, it had nothing to do with anyone here.

Reviews are opinions, how can you feel tricked by someone's opinion?

Because when a site is covered in marketing for a film, and they review it and grade it higher than it should be (and you can only see this in retrospect), then anyone who thought these sites have any impartial critical standards should feel tricked. But this is a world where we are told everyone can give an opinion, and "an opinion can't be wrong".

And whats with the sequel trailer being pulled because the Twilight fans thought it was "too scary"? Wow, what a bunch of sterile, clueless wussies.

Hey, I'll be honest...even as I was watching it at home, the PA2 teaser trailer definitely scared me for a second there..

I can easily see how children could be frightened by it--especially in a booming theater.

Is this and Harry Potter attached to Eclipse?

If a trailer to a "horror movie" attached to a "Vampire movie" scares people, it's doing it's job going after it's target demographic.

Nivek, same warning I just gave Apatow Fan.

Feel free to discuss. I'm all for discussion, even when it goes against majority. But it seems like you're repeating yourself over and over, how you were lied to and how people who were scared by this movie are either lying or stupid. Just discuss without being condescending to the fans of the movie. Okay?

There is no way on earth that this trailer is so horrifically scary that they are pulling it from theaters. I understand that many children watch Twilight...but nothing happens in the trailer!

No...this is part of the marketing scheme. They are pulling the trailer themselves in a few markets so that they can get tons of interest in the trailer and artificially hype up the new movie...just like the brilliantly did with the first film. Convince people that the movie is ridiculously scary based on nothing...and they'll flock to see it.
