Did anyone catch the new tv spot on jay leno? It was awesome, it showed alot about what its gonna be about. From what i saw its a new home with a family of three the dad and mom with a teenage daughter or it could have been two daughters and a single father and then of course the baby we all have seen from previous footage, etc. It looks really great idk if they are related to katie from the first film or not but atleast we know it shows where its set and who is being attacked

Ugh. This looks even more ridiculous than last time around. And I'm calling it right now: they ruined the ending of the film in the TV spot. AGAIN.

Seriously, I wouldn't be too surprised if that shot of the woman being dragged off is part of the last minute of the movie, a la Quarantine.

Bottom line, I think Saw 3D's gonna do better this time around than this stupid-looking film.

They are related to Katie. The theatrical trailer briefly mentions her as "aunt Katie." So it could be her family moves into the house, and her spirit targets Hunter?

Or maybe that clip is from an old Video Tape or something like that & the people we are seeing now are like Katie's sister or something ? Wasn't there a scene in the trailer of someone looking at a picture & saying "There's Aunt Katie" or something like that

But the whole movie is practically through a video camera like the first one right? So theyre watching a movie while recording a movie? Alright, idk but its creepy hearing Katie after the events of the first film thats for sure

I will check this out this weekend mostly just to see if it gets interesting or not. I was not really impressed by the first movie. The movie just had so much hype behind it and then it was like meh.The part that was scary/interesting was the end of the movie really. The rest of the movie was fairly boring. The only thing that keep me interest was the rowdy sold out crowd that I saw it with.

We see Katie and her troubles then at some point Evil Possessed Katie shows up to wreck havoc on the family? (possibly at the end?) Or does evil Katie not appear?

Evil Possessed Katie appears at the end of the movie. She kills everyone except Hunter.
In a scene Katie leaves with the car and then we see the beginning of the first movie: Katie arriving home where Micah standing outside filming her.

Well given those spoilers this movie seems like it will be okay. If it has more action during the night scenes that it will be a great improvement over first one. Most of my friends are interested in seeing this movie this weekend so I hope its decent. Even though I am not a huge fan of the first.
