Comedy Parks and Recreation - Part 2

Pretty awesome episode. Gotta love rons amazement with the rectangle.

Gotta say, I'm caring less and less about Chris and Ann so I won't be tearing up when they leave.

Now, where did I put my rectangle?...

Never thought that Ron would like technology.

Burt Macklin returns...for the kids.

Another sign of Andy's hidden genius....being able to convert sexually explicit lyrics to kid friendly lyrics about smelly feet, bed wetting and nose picking.

Sure, April had to nudge him in that direction, but still.

I think Andy may have just found his calling in life

Someone HAS to make one of those black silhouette Apple ads with Ron's silhouette. And have it say iRectangle

If he was a real person, he'd be one of those friends (and I think we all know/are one) who shows genuine talent for a number of things, but always falls back into a rut or into failure because he doesn't enjoy genuinely succeeding at something.

Tonight is the goodbye to Ann and Chris, y'all. :csad:

It was very sadazing..thats a new word I made up. Ron was pretty great as always but Andy stole the show for me.

I can't say I'll miss Chris and Ann, but that was a lovely and moving farewell.

Loved that Ron simply saying "I have enjoyed some of the time we have spent together" brought people to tears lol

Also anyone notice this and Community had the exact same B-Plot

Haha sounds about like me

I will miss Anne. Her and Leslie ran the show for a couple of years.

That fenced-off, dark field where Leslie and Ann sat and said their goodbyes is really the same empty lot where 'The Pit' was in the very first episode! That large vacant plot has sat empty during the entire time Parks and Rec has been in production, and they've used it many times.

It was the site of both the Harvest Festival and the Winter Festival, and the big Leslie/Ben engagement/wedding party under a huge tent.

And interestingly, though it is completely common and non-distinctive, they keep coming back to film at 'Ann's house', which really is right behind that lot! That's where everyone stood at the curb and said their goodbyes at the end of the episode. (They also have used a restaurant around the corner from us for 'J.J.'s Diner' about a dozen times.)

I was intrigued by the final shot of the episode, when Chris and Ann drive off for Michigan and the camera cranes up for a look at the town -- and a huge body of water stretches along the horizon! (The foreground is the actual street Ann lives on, but the town and water were added digitally). I had always thought Pawnee was supposed to be somewhere in central Indiana . . . but this seems to imply it is right on the shore of Lake Michigan! Kinda odd, since no one on the show has ever mentioned the lake or visited it.

That was hilarious...
