Comedy Parks and Recreation - Part 2

I thought they would reveal Jean Ralphio as Lucy's boyfriend.

I just realized he does the voice for Randy Cunningham on Disney.

Jean Ralphio is actually Mark Brendanawicz in disguised. :o

I kind of would like to see what Mark has been up to for the past few years. Did they even say where he moved to?

He eventually got married to Mandy Hampton from the West Wing and they started a rescue shelter for abandoned "authors' pets."

Mark's been chained in Shauna Malwae-Tweep's basement for the past five seasons.

I hope so. I thought it was odd that there was no mention of Diane or her daughters, unless I missed it.

There was no mention of them but that doesn't mean it's odd. We know they exist we don't always need other characters to be mentioned haha. But I am sure they will appear or be addressed or mentioned at some point.

That's just what Shauna Malwae-Tweep wants everyone to think...

The Cones of Dunshire

We've known for a while that The Cones of Dunshire, the ridiculously complicated yet wonderful board game dreamt up by Ben Wyatt in Season 6 of Parks and Recreation, would be made into a fully fledged board game by Mayfair. Now the day is here. BAGSY THE LEDGERMAN'S HAT:

This is expensive, but this is a one-time opportunity to own a legendary game in an edition that people will talk about and desire for years. Nothing else will bring The Architect's vision to life, as this game will! Become a part of history–be one of the proud owners of the Deluxe Edition of The Cones of Dunshire!

In recreating the version of the game from the show, the pledge to get an actual copy of the game is a whopping $500 (with some bonus swag including a replica copy of the script for the episode The Cones of Dunshire), while lower tiers allow you to support the project and get Cones themed merchandise. Initial plans previously mentioned that a more affordable, downsized version of the game would be released to the public later down the line, but there's no mention of that in this kickstarter. If you're a crazy diehard Parks and Rec fan, this is for you.

I say we all chip in $50 and then we all meet up and play it

Speaking of Cones of Dunshire...

Amy Poehler; I hate Cones of Dunshire. It's so confusing. It gives me a headache. #ParksandRec #TCA15

Because why are they going to spend all that money on something that is ending and isn't that great in ratings? A lot of last seasons that go from 22 to 13 is because the network is being considerate enough to let the show end on its own terms since the ratings suck.

Parks gets the last laugh as both episodes did better than NBC's 4 other comedies in the demo (1.5) and total viewers (3.8, 3.3). It also topped Constatine (demo/viewers), Grimm (demo), Dateline (demo), The Biggest Loser (demo), Parenthood (demo), Mysteries of Laura (demo), SVU (demo), State of Affairs (demo/viewers) and tied Chicago Fire and Chicago PD in the demo.

Loved Hamm's cameo and liked the Ron/Leslie rift as they've fought many times in the past. It's believable that something could end their friendship. Obviously they'll be friends again. After season six's finale something was needed for another ending of the series.

Planning my series finale party: bacon, waffles, steak, Ron Swanson BBQ sauce, future birds, chicky chicky parm parm, super water, bean blankies and cupcakes with quotes on them.

Don't forget salad, grilled Portobello mushrooms and turkey burger with microgreens and saffron aioli on handmade brioche.

I'll go with deer protein instead.

And maybe a Ron Swanson Turkey Burger (deep fried turkey leg inside a grilled hamburger).
