ok seriously can anyone find what the hell this guy is smoking because it must be some good ****

truthfully though i dont know whats scarier that this guy has these opinions, that some gullible fools will take him seriously or that no matter how much honest work people on here will put in they will never have the wealth or lifestyle of this nutjob

This isn't 1988. Old Pat's not relevant anymore.

Lol, it's one thing to attack gays and feminists, but Robertson has no idea the crapstorm he's brought upon himself by attacking gamers!

Him speaking in a video is as stupid as him speaking in real life.

may so but **** like this, is going to be taken serious by some people which will make this force this on familys or kids and seriously **** them up

and thats scary as all hell

Speaking even as the pastor of a very traditional church, it's been evident for years now that no one should be listening to anything Pat says. Any connections between what he's teaching and what the Bible says are clearly only in his deluded mind.

The really sad part is that every other person on that show and behind the scenes hasn't walked that man off the set yet and gently told him he doesn't belong in any position where he'd be teaching people anything.

I realize it's popular to beat up on Pat Robertson, but this is such a non-issue,it isn't even funny.

As someone who was raised in a church and still considers himself a believer, Pat Robertson needs to shut up. It's things like this that are far more detrimental to the faith than helpful. That said, this is one his lessor offensive remarks unfortunately.

Oh God, I've killed millions of virtual humans, aliens, zombies, robots, mutants, etc. I'm going to Hell!!!

Every single person that has played a video game is going to Hell. Yes, even the little children. Even the ones who play the kiddie games where you defeat a boss.

Just when you think the guy can't say anything dumber - BAM.

Though, theologically speaking, he might not be wrong.

Beliefs and people like this are why I'm anti-Christianity and distance myself from religion period.

Please don't let this man taint religion and Christianity in general for you. That is so unfortunate.

There is only one answer to this.

A-freaking-men.

Before I found out who Pat Robinson- er Robertson was, I used to have to go into detail why I don't believe in blah blah blah, now I just tell them to watch his show.

If people like Pat Robertson (we've lost Jerry Falwell) don't turn you into at least an agnostic, nothing will.

It's hard to find a single individual who encapsulates everything wrong with a belief system.

As I recall he was also instrumental in getting Dungeons & Dragons on the "satan's game" list as well. Pretty much anything he saw as pagan (which is a lot) led straight to hell.

He's misguided, self-important, egotistical, arrogant and a lot of other negative things that are very much non-Christian. He's well meaning but so ignorant of anything outside his narrow field of belief that his influence is destructive but I don't think he deserves hell.

Unfortunately, it's not just this man.

In my community, I have watched Christianity lead the charge in favor of segregation and prejudice, I have personally experienced too many people that try to shove their religion down my throat, and I have had family members disown me due to their religion and my lack thereof.

On a more rational note, I don't judge all Christians based off of extremists such as this, and some of my closest friends are very devoutly Christian, and I watch as their religion is a basis of what makes them the people that I love as much as I do. I don't hate individual Christians. I think people who have found something to live their life for, and something to believe in, is a beautiful thing. And despite all of the negatives I have personally experienced in the name of Christianity, I have also seen first hand the positive that can come from Christianity and religion.

But I know enough about the Christian religion in general to know that, extremists that make it look BAD aside, it is still not something that I choose to believe in, as I feel that Christianity supports many things that I do not believe in. Then you toss in the extremists like Pat Robinson, and the personal experiences that I have gone through, and in the end, Christianity and religion is not something that I want in my own life.
