That is an astute observation about Flair and Sting

Sting's dive over the top rope in his match against Rick Rude in New Japan was tremendous. The air time that he gets for his size is insane! Supposedly this was the spot that caused Rude's career ending back injury. Here's the video of the match. The dive is around the 17:50 mark

Aye I remember that one, tremendous air on the dive but you can see Rude lands on that raised stage corner the ring is set on, and with Sting's weight coming down as well that blow to his back damaged his discs.

I remember hating Regal as a kid. He was such a smarmy heel and at my age he was all that was to be hated, especially when he was feuding with my guy Sting. It is great to look back at his matches now and appreciate them for what they are. The intricacies of his style and what he put into his matches are a thing of beauty. Regal is the man!

I think Regal is one of those guys that was a pure heel, and his unusual style of wrestling, at least to those of us who grew up on the US style, he was someone we didn't fully appreciate until we got older. Watching Cesaro now it's not hard to see why Regal is such a big fan.

One of the worst matches I have ever seen was between Steen and Super Dragon (cue vomiting emoticon ). It was 30 minutes of hardcore ******** and no selling. Seriously, 30 ****ing minutes it went of them hitting each other with ****, mainly Steen getting the brunt of it. Absolutely ****, but PWG thought it was good enough to be on their best of dvd from a few years ago.

Then again, they also put like half a dozen PAC matches on the dvd as well, so that should have been a sign.

ROH fans love Steen though. I don't care either way because there's no top ROH guy I care about. The ROH hardcores have a ***** for Steen so he's champ.

Boy, am I out of the loop, I didn't even know that. Roddy's a bit more charismatic thanks to Truth Martini, but he's still rather sad to listen to on the mic. But his matches have been even better since joining the House of Truth.

WCW - Sting - Rick Rude Confrontation

Glorious! It takes balls to wear what Rude had on.

He is pretty much a backyard wrestler that a company employed to the point of actually paying money despite the fact he's not safe and wears chaper attire than the brooklyn Brawler.

But he looks like he should be lugging bags of compost around a gardsen center.
