Also kind of an interesting bit of trivia . Ric Flair told a story at the 2012 HOF about hanging up on his wife to have drinks with Cena and that lead to his eventual divorce from his previous wife , lol.

I feel sorry for Cena and his wife, but then I feel sorry for his wife if Cena really came up to her about the divorce first while she wanted to work things out.

King Mo and Dixie Carter will be appearing on MMA Uncensored on SpikeTV tonight following Impact Wrestling to discuss Mo's signing with Bellator and TNA.

The following are the highlights of the TNA and Bellator Fighting Championships joint conference call regarding the co-signing of King Mo Luwal.

-Spike TV president Kevin Kay opened the call by saying that King Mo will work for TNA and Bellator Fighting Championships. The plan is for Mo to wrestle for TNA this summer (though his knee problems could be an issue).

-Bjorn Rebney spoke of how this took the right type of person to make this deal happen. He said King Mo is a world class athlete and is passionate for pro wrestling.

-Dixie Carter said she's been vocal in conversations regarding the use of a fighter within the pro wrestling world. She said people in the past didn't seem to understand the big picture. She said Rebney shared her vision and then it became just a matter of finding the right fighter. She raved about his wrestling potential, his personality, and his passion for pro wrestling. Carter introduced King Mo.

-"This is a dream come true for me," Mo said. "I'm pretty much speechless." He said he gets to knock people out in the cage and with chairs inside the ring, which drew laughs.

-Mo was asked how much training he's had for pro wrestling and how long it will take to see him on television in the ring. Mo said he's studied it and watched it. He said he had an WWE tryout and spent a week in OVW. He said he picked things up from the likes of John Morrison and Mark Henry, and learned what not to do from Nathan Jones.

-Dixie Carter said Mo will spend time in OVW and will work with wrestlers on the road. She specifically mentioned Kurt Angle.

-Mo was asked how much time he'd need to take away from pro wrestling while training for MMA. "Whatever Dixie and Bjorn are open to do," he said. He referred to himself as a workhorse. He said his knee injury is doing well. He said he's not sure when he'll be going to OVW.

-A caller mentioned that some MMA fans haven't been happy about pro wrestlers (Brock Lesnar was specifically mentioned) crossing over to MMA. Rebney said he has confidence in MMA fans to understand what pro wrestling and MMA are and be able to differentiate between the two. He said Mo won't divorce himself from one career to move into the other. "First there was Bo (Jackson) and now there is Mo," Rebney said.

-The caller mentioned that Dana White hinted that the door was open for him to come back to Strikeforce. "The door is closed," Mo said. He said he's not waiting for anyone, and he takes the best deal. He said the Bellator and TNA deal was the best he could get and he's happy he took it.

-Another caller asked why Mo didn't wait to see if other organizations made a better offer. Mo said there are Zuffa (UFC) and Bellator. He said he could have waited for Zuffa to get back to him in September or take the deal with Bellator and Impact Wrestling. "I'm not going to wait like a female for some kind of date," Mo said.

-Dixie Carter was asked about concerns regarding whether she'll get enough out of the deal when Mo has an MMA fight. She mentioned their past with Bobby Lashley. She said in Mo's case, she feels it won't be an issue because he wants to do so much. Rebney said there is a complete open door to communication regarding his fights and matches. Dixie added that when Mo is training for a fight, a lot of that will be included on the Impact Wrestling show.

-Mo told another caller that his new deal is better than the deal he had with Zuffa. He was asked how long the deal is for. "It's for a long time," he said. "I'll probably have some gray hair when it's done." He was asked whether Zuffa knew and had a chance to counter the offer. Mo said they were aware.

-Mo was asked whether he was more excited about debuting in TNA or Bellator. "Both equally," he said. The caller asked about the possibility of talking Rebney into signing Rampage Jackson so they could have their fight. Mo said they could also have a match in TNA.

-Kay spoke about the synergy between the two brands. He touted the synergy possibilities and said he expects there to be other fighters who want to go back and forth between Impact Wrestling and Bellator.

-A caller asked whether Bellator and TNA will air on the same night once Bellator debuts on Spike TV in January. Kay said he's not sure yet. He hyped the TNA move to an earlier time slot and specifically mentioned the show starting before the football games will start on NFL Network. Kay also said they have a lot of plans to promote King Mo outside Bellator and TNA. "I don't think there's another MMA fighter out there who's going to get this type of exposure," Kay said. "I'm sure of that."

-Rebney was asked whether other Bellator fighters have expressed interest in crossing over. He said it takes a special fit to pull it off. He said it requires a world class fighter, and a strong personality.

-Mo was asked again about the difficulty of training for an MMA fight and wrestling at the same time. "I don't think it's going to be that hard at all," he said regarding balancing the two. He said it's not like he can't bring a coach with him on the road if he's traveling. Carter chimed in and said that it's going to be hard, but he has the unique ability to do it.

-Kay was asked whether Mo's deal was with Bellator and TNA or Spike TV. He said the deal is with Bellator and TNA.

-A caller asked whether there are any concerns over putting Mo in a TNA ring before his Nevada State Athletic Commission suspension is over. Rebney said no. He said there primary concern is rehabbing his knee.

-The caller asked about the possibility of a co-promoted show. Kay said they will keep the brands separate.

-The caller asked about Dave Batista and the the interest he's shown in MMA. Carter praised him as a great wrestling talent. She said there are going to be a lot of people out there wishing they were in Mo's spot. She said this is their focus right now.

-Mo was asked about the potential backlash from MMA fans because he's entering pro wrestling. "To be honest with you, I don't care." He said if they are truly his fans, they will understand.

-Mo was asked when he thinks he'll be ready physically. He said he will know more once he talks with his rehab therapist.

-Rebney said the deal came together after he and Carter spoke with Kevin Kay in a series of conversations for over a year. He once again stressed that they needed to find a special fit. Carter said a lot of names were mentioned, but she knew that King Mo was the guy they needed to get when his name was mentioned. Kay said he's always encouraged Carter and Rebney to talk and to exchange ideas. Kay said he knew Mo was a huge pro wrestling fan. He feels that's a key because he truly cares. He said Mo grew up idolizing Sting and Hulk Hogan.

-The caller asked for more details about the contract. Dixie said he has two separate deals with Bellator and TNA.

-Mo recalled Sting facing Ric Flair at the Clash of the Champions. He said he prayed the night before that God would let Sting win. He said he was crushed when the match went to a time limit draw. "I still think about that a lot," Mo said.

-Carter was asked whether the company has already been working to come up with ideas for Mo. She said she's been keeping this a secret from people in the company, so they haven't been working on it. She said she's been discussing it with Mo, and he already has a name for his finishing move.

-Mo was asked if there's anyone in particular that he would like to work with in TNA. He mentioned Ric Flair specifically. He also mentioned Sting. Dixie Carter mentioned Kurt Angle, and Mo agreed.

-Nebney confirmed that Bellator will be debuting on Spike in January and Mo will be part of the launch.

Thats Flair for you. He's like a Lost Boy who never grew up but got old. He needs to figure the four the guy who panted Dorian Grays portrait so he can get one just like it.

I really need the WM28 dvd. Want to watch the full HOF.

Sucks to hear about Cena's divorce. It's always sad to hear about those type of situations as they are terribly painful.

I'm very interested in the King Mo signing. I am an avid MMA follower so knowing who Mo is and what he is about makes this signing intriguing. I don't care for Mo as a personality, but he does have a charisma that could shine in wrestling if he is used right. He will no bring them a ton of attention from the casuals, since Mo really isn't a big star, but it's a nice signing.

Gail Kim is getting married today. Now I'll never have a shot :csad: :cwink:

True, but the MMA fans who hate pro wrestling will hate on this.

These are the guys I could see Vince pushing as the new face of WWE:

The Miz (age 31)

Ryback (age 30)

Alex Riley (age 31)

Ted Dibiase (age 29)

Percy Watson (age 30)

Johnny Curtis (age 30)

Zack Ryder (age 26)

Leakee (age 26)

Big E Langston (age 26)

The irony of Cena getting a divorce while Orton is in a (seemingly) stable marriage is not lost on me.

It's strange that the only workers who seem like they can keep there marriages together are outnumbered by the ones who can't: the good ones I can think of Orton, Mysterio, Foley and Owen Hart (:() and that's about it.

JBL too, but I think by now we can call him a professional stockbroker who dabbled in wrestling, rather than the other way around.

I really thought WWE would give Riley a big push after he started to feud with Miz and I really liked the guy's style.

And...Ryback? That would be an AWFUL push, lol. I don't even see the use of why Ryback is even in the WWE.

What's Luke from tough enough doing nowadays? Thought he would be excelling in fcw.

I think it will be this guy:

True.

I think if Ziggler turns face, he could be that guy.

Ziggler...now I'd approve if he turned face. He could still have the Shawn Michaels type of ego and still be a face. Besides, he's not really going anywhere now with being in Vickie's stable.

Vince is a big fan of Ryback though. There were rumors he was going to push the guy hard but he got injured, and now he's back.

God dangit, Vince....what's so ****ing special about Ryberg? Lol.

Did Cena mess around with Mickie James. I could have sworn I heard that.

the rumour was she tried but was shot down, right on to the lap of the animal

but give it time i'm sure the dirt sheets will have storys of him sticking it to every diva in the locker room

The problem with Cena is that WWE won't let him take any time off when it's clear the injuries and everything else is taking its toll.

It sucks but when these guys are on the road and hot women even if they are ****s and throwing themselves at these guys, it's tough for any man to resist.

Just remember Bret Hart. Remember how steamed he and his fans got over the SUNNY DAYS comment? Even in the famous Wrestling With Shadows documentary, Bret said he and Sunny were "friends, just friends" almost like a "he doth protest too much." Then later on he admitted he was basically cheating on his wife who he was married to for many years constantly on the road. Even the Hitman couldn't resist the allure all the females throwing themselves at him.

My first guess would be that Cena gave it to Kelly Kelly.

The problem with Cena is that WWE won't let him take any time off when it's clear the injuries and everything else is taking its toll.

If that's the case...imagine how it'll take its toll on Cena down the line.

I don't blame anyone for trying to have some 'sunny days' ( at least in 96) but that was a bit disheartening the way Bret describes his affairs in the book. I felt bad for his wife..

It's worth checking out. I think Ron Simmons got a great induction , as did Yoko and the Horsemen. Tyson and DX were very entertaining. Edge's felt kind of short and Mil Mascara was a bit difficult to understand but it was good nonetheless.

I wish Flair was back in WWE , he could be a great GM or manager.

As for new face of the company, it's probably not gonna be somebody on the main roster.

Ant Man posted his picks, but who are people you can see being the next top babyface?

I'm going to FCW first

Leakee-Young and has a lot of work to do, but has a good pedigree and look that Vince loves, and IMO he just has a certain star quality.

Seth Rollins- I see him like a more talented and charismatic Kofi, with the right storyline coming in to TV I could see him being huge.

Ziggler-Ask HR I've been saying for a LONG time how much he reminds me of a young HBK

Sheamus-Seems like he's already been hand picked to be the next top guy, he's already more or less usurped Ortons spot.

Zack Ryder-I think he's an ideal upper midcard act but with some tweaks who knows, he's got the fanbase, charisma, talent and a good look.
