Sacrifice was certainly the best PPV in some time, I skipped Hardy/Kenderson, Devon vs the 2 Robbies and EY vs Crimson, but the other 5 matches were good.

The tag title opener was solid and sadly it looks like they took the belts off Joe and Magnus just to do a AJ/Angle vs DanZarian tagf title match at Slammiversary X, which is a waste of Angle and AJ.

Gail got a good match out of Brooke who showed some good timing and execution on her main spots, better than Velvet.

Aries vs Bully was physical, Aries took a nasty fall off the top rope into the steel guard rail and had two big nasty bruises on his back, but he still put in the full effort in a quality match, the finish was slightly botched but not enough to detract.

Angle vs AJ was a classic pure wrestling match like all of their encounters, I think AJ has been Angles best opponent in TNA.

The Ladder match for the title was much better than I anticipated, Roode showed he can work any type of match and RVD put more in than he has in a long while, they worked hard and built in the big spots really well, plus it was good to see Roode win straight up, especially in a match where he was billed as the underdog due to the stip.

Can't imagine why they are panicking.

Officials = Vince McMahon.

He increasingly strikes me as the kind of corporate manager who loses his **** over relatively minor, fixable, setbacks, but lies back humming and pleasuring himself while the bus he's on goes over a cliff.

Probably cause they know so many think the Brock story arc has been turned to **** after the ER ending and now some think(casuals)Brock is a total p**y for"quitting"WWE cause of his demands being turned down!

Their politics got in the way and ruined a good ending, but that's no reason to move up a big money match.

I wonder if Cena's going to be out after Over the Limit and they aren't sure what to use as the main-event, even though the WWE Championship is the obvious choice.

I wouldn't mind Punk vs Orton for the WWE title at No Way Out. Punk could use a win over another main-event guy.

Thinking back it's a shame Bret vs Sting didn't happen a few years earlier, it was one of the biggest dream matches but by that point it just wasn't the same.

The stars would have to allign perfectly, Mania, Taker as the opponent, and realistically within the next two years, but ya never know.

Which match was this?

Remember Orton basically called her the locker room bike in that radio interview last year.

Thanks Man. I'm gonna settle down and watch that later. I wonder if Sting came out with showtime on the fly and it stuck? Because even as an 80's bred guy he never had a catchphrase.

Can't imagine why they are panicking.

Despite the storylines, wCw had good wrestling matches and promos in 99.

Hell if I know, but WWE will be taping something else before Smackdown now that NXT moved to Florida.

NXT was supposed to be the revolutionary show and we saw how that went.

Oh come on now....

Vince has Alicia Fox and Mason Ryan pleasure him.

I'm still disappointed that didn't turn out better. It was a dream match of mine.

Um, I'll take "None of the above" for 400, Alex. :)

Jerry Brisco is probably in on the action too. A multitasker like Vince likes various zones occupied.

Rumor has it he'll flip out if you sneeze around him.

- A press release was issued recently touting UFC star Tito Ortiz going into the California Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame on May 20th. Talking about Tito's popularity, they claimed that he has sold out more pay-per-views than any UFC fighter in history and has drawn a higher buy-rate than WWE's WrestleMania XIX, calling it the most popular WrestleMania of all-time.

The press release also talks about Tito's future as he gets ready to leave UFC and it teases that he may return to professional wrestling with WWE. We noted weeks back that Tito expressed interest in working for WWE while doing UFC media interviews.

I'll be laughing my ass off even if they push Tito better than they did with Shamrock.

- WWE sources indicated this weekend that officials are "in a panic" over the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H storyline and may move the match to June's No Way Out pay-per-view. The feeling among others is that they need to save the match for SummerSlam and having it in June will be a huge mistake.

HUGE mistake if they rush this next month! Seriously, waste it for a 2nd rate PPV? Just save it for SummerSlam. An even better reason to book it there if Cena Vs. Rock II doesn't happen.

And I think that's the reason the WWE dropped Cyborg.

Well, her getting busted for steroids didn't help either. :oldrazz:

Which match was this?

I think it was the GAB 1990 main event.

We are starting off with the Nose of Noses!!!

The Nose of Noses is shooting on Brock Lesner.

How did the "Wrestling is Fake" sign get in? Triple H with the super shoot

Well, way to **** up a good idea of waiting a few weeks before bringing Heyman back. Should have just left it with HHH trying to cover it up and have Heyman come out in 2 weeks...

Oh well, this should be good at least.

Heitch and Pauly just had a moment.

It never works out when they try to drag lawsuits into storylines. Never. Because damn near everyone can find some big hole in their logic, which is never hard to do.

Well, if Brisco's involved, that changes everything. You gotta show some respect for the HOFers. :hehe:
