So any people here you put on ignore, and if so... why?

To those who don't use ignore. Do you think it is passive aggressive behavior?

Should we simply just give people another chance?

I've only had a couple people on ignore. I'd prefer not to do that, but sometimes there are people who just don't want to get a long with everyone. meh

It's tempting sometimes to do so but I have yet to have anyone on it. Not even zryson or the late Kevin Smith made me do that. That said... I think I can see it being a healthy thing for some poster's peace of mind. Some would rather use that function than be tempted to respond to someone that constantly infuriates them.

I've never intentionally tried to tick someone off, but when I felt a certain poster was just constantly trying to set me off I figured it was better to just stop viewing his posts. Not missing much when they usually consist of the same ole' one liners anyway

If you post a personal/political view that is different, but aren't trolling someone, that is one thing that reeks of ignorance to ignore someone for. I remember one time I had a different view on a topic, and wasn't even addressing the said poster and he went out of his way to say a few times "I'm putting him on ignore." lol. What a child. I don't ignore based on just differences of opinion, that would be just ridiculous. It's the stupid trolling and personal attacks to get a reaction that somehow bypass the mods at times which causes a need to ignore I suppose.

Haha I actually never put people on my ignore list. The one that got really close was Howlett but I would rather argue with someone and prove I'm right instead of ignore them. I'm a stubborn bastard.

Nah... You were INSANELY hyper sensitive and everyone that interacted with you would agree with that. You've mellowed a lot recently. You could stand to mellow a little more though.

Nah, as long as one doesn't say who they place on ignore, I have no problem.

I did have one person that I had to put on ignore because their views on a certain subject so infuriated me that I knew I would not be able to resist getting into an argument with them over their viewpoint.

They have since been banned so I guess I am "ignore free".

I sometimes wonder if I have pissed off anyone sufficiently for them to ignore me... But then how would I know?

But, I've also told people they should put me on ignore if they couldn't handle my posts. They obviously didn't since they loved to complain, I guess.
