Discuss Pepper in Avengers 4. Sounds like she could be involved, and possibly get involved in the action like she did in Iron Man 3.

Oh, there's a thread for Pepper! She should totally save Tony up on Titan, if Captain Marvel doesn't get there first. Or if they both show up at the same time to rescue him...hmm, Pepper might then have some reasonable concerns about why her man is stranded on an alien planet with all these strange space-women. :D That would be something.

I hope she has as little a role as possible. Paltrow is so unappealing on screen.

Leave. Now. Just go.
Honestly, she is very boring, but she has potential to become very interesting as a character.

I mentioned somewhere else, but if the Rescue armour rumours have anything to them, I would love a scene with her, Stark and Rhodey lined up and unleashing everything they've got.

That would actually be so cool, I think that one scene could overshadow everything Black Widow has ever done.

They could fly in formation too. :funny:

It would be nice character-wise too to get the 3 of them interacting for a small part of the battle at least.

I hope Pepper and Tony get their happy ending. Tony/Pepper are my number one ship in the mcu. They started this universe and deserve a good send off.

Maybe there will be a decent LotR style epilogue at the end of Avengers 4 as this could be the end of a huge journey for some characters.

My thoughts exactly! After all they've been through, they really deserve their happy ending. There is really no point to make Tony such a tragic character, just because the actor gets older.

Happy endings are underrated!

Yeah, I feel like, especially after GoT, people became too obsessed with all these 'Who dies next'. Like, there are more than enough bad and awful things in real life already, where are my happy endings in fiction, at least?

Her over the top takedown of the "Mandarin" is one of my favorite moments in the MCU :funny:

I loved that scene, too. Some fans had a problem with Red Hot Chili Pepper being the one to kill Killian, but I think it's fitting that the tortured damsel avenged herself. I'm still pissed that the writers decided to de-power Pepper at the end of IM3 but at least she's getting her Rescue suit at last.

I mentioned it above but I would really love one shot of Iron Man, War Machine and Rescue launching a coordinated attack unleashing everything they've got at the same time, and also flying in formation.

She was one of THE highlights of the film.

i didn't expect Rescue at all so her appearance in the final battle was so amazing! And her reaction to when Tony was dying.... I felt very emotional. :(

I love that she finally became an official superhero, though I'm still salty that they didn't just do it after she got powers in Iron Man 3.

Also I love how she was such a consistent presence in Iron Man's life throughout the whole series, right to the very end. She's the only one of the original 4 love interests that didn't get left behind or broken up with in some way (although things do end up working out for Cap and Peggy, eventually).

really you think so?

I was kinda like "meh". They gave her like what, 5 lines of dialogue?

This was the best I’ve seen of her.

I thought she was awful.
The little girl playing Morgan out acted her during Tony's memorial speech, Holland out acted her when Tony was actually dying, and her "mean" face was hilariously pathetic when she came in as the Rescue pilot - which she somehow knows how to expertly use - Okay.

As much as I like the idea of Pepper as a character, I haven't liked how Paltrow has played her since IM2. I actually wish she had been left out of the final battle entirely. She took the emotion out of a few moments with her "acting."

I wish I could just splice another actress in her place into these scenes. :funny:

Pepper was I don't know...maybe I'm biased due to Paltrow. She was decent in the films. She had way more to do in Iron Man 2 and 3. That worked. Her role in IW was good as it was small and worked. For this one, it felt like she was almost playing a different charcter.

I liked her in this film, and also in Avengers.

For some reason though, she reminded me a bit of Phoebe from Friends in this film.

Wow... I actually thought this was some of her best work as the character, especially the talk with Tony after he figures out how to use the Quantum Realm to time travel, and of course how she was there at the end for Tony. I don't know if it was the directors or her choice but how she handled Tony's last breaths was very convincing and touching to me. And I say this as someone that kinda despises her as a person for that bull**** Goop lifestyle **** she peddles which is often pseudoscientific bull****.
