PETA VS NINTENDO ohh dear lord

I find it funny, yet lame how they're trying to use the Tanooki suit as a pin-point on their "issue" at hand... the thing doesn't even let you fly in the 3D Land version, so it's not like there's any "cruelty" to be had in the game itself, which is what they're nagging at. Either way, can't wait to play the game at some point and be able to see how it's like to run/float in the racoon suit in 3-D itself.

...if it is such an issue, why didn't they say something about Super Mario Bros. 3? That had the Tanooki suit, as well as the Frog suit.

Amen. In SMB3 you see Mario hopping around or swimming in that frog suit enough times... why didn't they give two eagles' turds over the suits then? They're so desperate to stay in the media that they're gonna start attacking CGI game animals/costumes now.

PETA just likes to keep digging into the little minor things and make a big fuss over them.

PETA wants to stay relevant so every now and then they pull stunts like this.

Pathetic. Shouldn't they be focusing on more pressing issues instead of Nintendo tradition which harms no one.

I doubt the latest game will inspire kids to go out and buy fur coats and whatnot.

Although Mario Sunshine did inspire me in getting a water jet pack.
