How often do you feign disinterest with the intention of looking cool?

I hope I'm not the only one who looks back upon past actions and realizes that I was pretending not to be interested in something with the intention of looking cool, aloof, and not over-eager.

When I am presented with something I am interested in, I usually say something. However, when in the presence of someone I'm trying to impress, I play it like I don't care when in reality I do.

How often do you do this and what do you think it means?
