While he's not officially signed on yet, Chris Nolan's long-time Director of Photography Wally Pfister recently spoke about a few rumors/questions concerning TDKR, and shot some of them down.
Like we all knew, because Nolan isn't a "gimmick" director, no 3D nonsense for the flick. Yay, but no surprise.
With Nolan's enjoyment of IMAX, there has been wonder over if they would do the entire film in such. Answer: no. They hope to do more than they did in TDK, but certainly not the whole film by far. OK. Satisfactory.
Big thing he shot down is the rumor I was most concerned about myself; that TDKR would film mostly in New Orleans due to WB having had a good experience there with Green Lantern. It would totally lose so much of the "look" of Gotham though, IE Chicago. So thankfully, he shot that down as well. Yay Chicago/Gotham!
