If it's being released early in Brazil I'm getting it. I have a region free blu ray, I don't think Paramount region code their movies anyway (but disney do).

Brazil is region A, that's for sure. Same as USA and Japan, IIRC.

BTW, those movies have the Paramount logo but they will be distributed by Disney (Buena Vista, still?), at least in Brazil.

Any word if the movies which have two-disc editions like Iron Man 2 will get the additional disc ported to the set? I hate when boxed sets omit extra discs.

I already have all the movies Iron Man 1 ( 2 disc DVD) Hulk ( 2 disc DVD) Iron Man 2 ( Blu Ray/ DVD combo steel book case) Thor ( Blu ray/ DVD combo) Captian America ( Blu ray/ DVD combo). The only way I would buy this is if the movie memorbila and the phase 1 archives disc was really worth while, I mean really worth while like rare collectible or something. Other wise paying 150 for movies I already have isn't worth it in my opinion. That 150 could be spent elsewhere.

Yeah I can go to just about any Business supply store and buy a case like the one Fury had, and add the foam in it to hold the dvd's for way less than what they want.

If you pre-order the UK blu ray steelbook on HMV before Tuesday and use this code H8BLU20 it checks out at only £12.79

Man I want a U.S. Steelbook. why to we get these overpriced special additions with basically crap for extras?

The US always get extra discs we don't get here, Buffy did it in the complete set, Smallville did it, now Avengers is doing it and of course it punishes the fans who bought them all when they were first released

I just want a Version you can simply add the ALL the deleted scenes back in.
I mean the dvd you buy isn't being played in a theater so you don't have this "2 hour limit" to abide by at home and you should be able to decide yourself wether it needs to be shown or not.

so happy disney and marvel are planning to put out a 10 disc phase one set, so getting that!! (I wonder if that'll include Avengers, or a standalone set) hope they do it like they do collector's edition tv series box-sets, that would be awesome!!

Shame the DVD/BR won't have a cast commentary though, I think its kind of dumb NOT to have one on a movie like this, but it's still early so im not losing hope yet.

That second screen app sounds really cool, gonna check that out definately. how do you sync up your laptop wirelessly to a BR player though? I never knew you could do that! lol

I think you need an Ipad or other Tablet device for the second screen feature.

A picture of the UK steelbook has been released. Minimal Title-age I see

Really hope that the good special features aren't exclusive to Blue Ray...

I tried looking for a Brazilian version of Amazon to pre order but there doesn't seem to be one?
lol maybe it's because many Brazlian's are moving to Florida. lol I just saw many of the Millionaires down there are buying up condos in Florida.

UK always gets neat steelbooks. I wish they were more prevalent in the US

They are SO easy to get though! I order all of my Steelbooks on Amazon's UK site, and many times they are cheaper than what they would be here in the US. You should look on there sometime. They have all kinds of Steelbooks! The only downfall (if you want to call it that) is that the alternate title will be on the cover. For example, The Avengers will have Avengers Assemble on the cover. Other than that, it's freaking awesome!

In fact you go to the website and just simply search for "steelbook blu ray" and you get all this......

Edit: One other thing. The Blu Rays will actually be Region Free, while the DVD (if one is included) will not be. So you won't be able to use the DVD, unless you have a Region Free DVD player.

Are there any DVDs that actually do that? I've wanted that feature before but usually these deleted scenes are always a separate feature where you have to look wistfully at what could have been.
