i know but, its separate comics...i'd like to see TAS team again. To me, that was the best, most iconic X-men team.

X-Men: Phoenix -- Warsong #3 will arrive in stores on Nov. 1 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Greg Pak, with art by Tyler Kirkham and a cover by Marc Silvestri.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"As remnants of the Phoenix make their way through the Stepford Cuckoos, more and more of their past is revealed! Where do they come from? Who created them? And who are their parents?"

X-Men: Phoenix -- Warsong #3 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

ok, i read 3 at my comic store again, and heres what i think;

i think it's cool how they finally gave the origin of the cuckoos(emma is the mommy!), but i'm still not convinced about the phoenix tie in. celeste is the only one who ends up with it, and it just doesn't really work for me.

hmm... maybe dr. sublime has to reconnect the stepford cuckoos so that he can distribute the part of the phoenix force to all the cuckoos in the tubes? and that is the tie in of the phoenix war...?

don't worry, Jean will always be phoenix, about her returning on warsong.... I have to said the she won't, maybe will appear, but then will leave.......remember, This story is not about Jean's resurrection, but more about the nature of Jean and the Phoenix... but don't worry, Emma will never be Phoenix......about the Cuckoos..... let's wait to see what happends...

Well, I just read this third issue and it was good, but I didn't like the fact that

Celeste wears a White Phoenix outfit. Didn't they say that's just for Jean?? The fact that Emma is their mother isn't even that surprising, they looked too much like her.

Anyways, it's getting better, so I'm really looking forward to the issue #4
