Yes it is.. I think the movie is really good, but that crash at the end looks so horrible.
I always get mixed up with airforce one and airplane one.But anyway I find that the part where the army dudes were rescuing them in the air looked amazing.
Yea, we shouldnt have to worry to much about it looking realistic (I hope), considering the size of the budget and the quality of the sets we have seen so far. While watching Firefly (the episode premeire, I think--"Serenity Part 1 and 2"), when the Reavers are about to catch Serenity and they pull a crazy Ivan, I remember being very, very impressed with the effects. The reaver ship looked quite good in the atmosphere, especially because of the camera work/angle/focus/shake, that sort of thing.
But now I'm really confused since I don't remember it being confirmed that the space ship will actually be piggybacked by the boeing 777. And if it is, would they let all those people aboard just to for the launch?
In the blogs there is no space ship, just the plane, with Supes coming to save the day. But knowing Bryan, that could be just to fool us. It doesnt matter either way, really, as its going to look incredible--people in freefall as the plane is falling, crashing from one end to the other, the plane shaking so much that it looks like its going to fall apart. "A cylinder that will push 38.5 tons slightly in excess of 2 g." And in the blog they were only going to 20%, and it looked really rough! I wonder how much they went while filming. 60%? 80%?
Yes that looked good, it's just the crash that looks horribly bad
So is the spaceship going to fall off for some double jeopardy for Superman (he has to save both)?
I hope that The Plane Sequence in Superman Return's make's this Plane Sequence look like Child's Play
^ you're joking right... that looks like a computer game!
Its from a Live Action Movie
^you're not serious!.. what movie may I ask??
^but it looks so tottally CG, even the sky behind it.. Dont worry, cause unlike that, SR will look REAL
It'd be cooler if there were snakes on it.
And Sam Jackson...
Is it just me, or could Snakes on a Plane totally make it on internet buzz alone at this point?
we'll see that put to the test i guess.
Unfortunately Snakes on a Plane is going to make alot of money on buzz alone. Good for the snakes.
What do you mean "unfortunately"? It's snakes on a mother****ing plane for Christ's sake! It's got classic written all over it.
What is going to suck is if Snakes On A Plane is a big hit like everyone is expecting then there will be crap load of Snake Movies
Snakes On A Bus - Speed 3
Snakes On A Toilet
Snakes On A Cab
Snakes On A Terroist
Beavers on a Bike
Alligators on a Helicopter
If richard bransons in it, my interest has gone down. cant people like him keep their egos under wraps.
the **** "owns" an ISLAND for crying out loud!!!
yes im bitter, but for the right reasons
Richard Branson is in it and for some reason, even though I should be, I am not mad about it.
I saw a special on his Island on the travel channel. That man worked his ass off, and became a success . . . but who can't be a little jealous when he has an open-air style bathroom, with a toilet overlooking the ocean perched on a cliff??
I really don't care if he's in the movie or not. Would I care if a no-name actor played the pilot? No. It's not a prominent role, you might as well let the man have his kicks. Depp owns his own island as well. Is he a ****, too?
Transporter 2, altough not being a great movie in my opinion, really amused me, i really like jason statham (he reminds me of bruce willys in some way), it was a really entertaining movie, but not good, and that plane sequence screamed CGI in my opinion, there are other movies with better plane sequences, altgough now i cant remember, jejejeje. The fact is that Superman Returs is going to have a bunch of great action and flying sequences (i hope), including the plane sequence.
