Iron Man 2 Possible ARG/Viral Campaign

The missing/added letters are N, U, D, and E.

NUDE?

In a movie where Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Munn and Kate Mara are in the best shape of their lives, I LOVE where this clue could be heading!

Not to bash anyone, but is this seriously a viral campaign or are people just looking waaaaaay to far into it?

So, the real secret is that there are articles written by Peter Parker, Lois Lane and Edward Brock hidden in the Whiplash poster, and we have to seek them out? They're right behind Dr Vanko.

SUBSTATIAL, TRAMA, KIDDENAPPING.

Three misspelled words.

The missing/added letters are N, U, D, and E.

What if the clue is not some complicated anagram? What if the missing/added letters are all we're supposed to find?

My first thought is also the most simple: what if the missing/added letters are supposed to correspond to their numbers in the alphabet?

N=14
U=21
D=4
E=5

Anybody notice those numbers (in any order) floating around any where? Are those numbers a secret password for the next stage of the game?

It seems too easy, I know, but you never know. Maybe it's supposed to be easy, since it is only the first clue.

according to C.Love there's two more letters we need to add to the list:

Here's all the mispellings:
T-missing from industries
i-missing from military
then of course the aforementioned N,U,D, & E
Together it spells united, untied, or dunite.

I see the missing T in industries, but I don't see the I missing in the word military.

One thing I noticed, and I'm too lazy to go back and check is that they refer to the company as Stark Enterprises, not Stark Industries. The article also refers to Stark Headquarters. I typed these as a web address, but no luck. I even added "now" at the end like Stark Industries' site, nothing.

yeah, I'm having trouble finding the military he's talking about too. at first i thought he might mean the top right where it says "Meet with high-ranking military officials" but i'm pretty sure both i's are there.

good idea on the websites, too bad none of them worked out :/

I also tried Hammer Industries. Nothing.

I posted this a while back in this thread, but since this thing is getting started up again:

feed://www.starkindustriesnow.com/feed/

It should be anytime they upload something we can see what it is...

and just when i was going to post that we should close this thread down last week...

glad i didnt. good job Marvel. right before my breaking point you come through.

What is this on the new Whiplash poster?

Didn't read all the posts, so my apologies if this has been already mentioned but the article says "Stark Enterprises" 3 times. There's no way they could have made that mistake that many times without noticing it. The question is how does it tie in with everything else?

Look like Iron Monger... and I would say Iron Man, but it almost looks the the Whiplash designs from the recent comics... not really.. but kind of...

Yeah, looks like War Machine. Kinda of. What if Rhodie takes the Mark I without Tony knowing it?

Seriously... with all these mistakes... I think they could have made them without realizing it. I mean... The art people that made them probably just created "legitimate" stories about Iron Man and Tony Start, somewhat what like how Zack Synder's team did for Watchmen... They made them... put them on Newspaper or whatever... then printed them out and used them as props...

Judging by the organization of these folks (no offensive if you are reading, but you just don't **** with fan boys and post something in August and give a crappy hint in December... come on now), they probably didn't care to spell check it... frankly because they didn't need to at the time...

At least... that is my hypothesis...

Just watched that scene again (Iron Man vs. Iron Monger) that shot could have totally come from there...

In the TDK ARG, they didn't spell "sergeant" correctly until like, a year into the game. :funny: I wouldn't look too hard into typos unless they were obviously pointed out. Like, with an arrow or note or something.

That is what I'm saying... it was interesting... but probably totally unintentional ...

BTW the Russian text: Железный человек? loosely translates into Iron Man? which means it is probably just a shot from the first fight...

What if that is a later enemy from the movie? It is too small to be the Iron Monger.

Crimson Dynamo or Titanium Man?

If there isn't a text size change... one might be missing
