Possible Super Skrull???

Not sure if it would be too hard to introduce the Skrull, but.....I saw a possible foreshadowing of Super Skrull in Johnny attaining all the powers of the Fantastic 4? It could just be nothing, but its the first thing I thought of.

Yes, I would think that scene with Johnny pretty much kills any chance for the Super Skrull, as thay have already gone down that road. I hope I'm wrong, as I always like the skrulls, super or otherwise.

I dont ever recall the FF swappin powers in the comics. Is this something new that happens in Ultimate?

I actually thought they were all going to combine their powers to defeat Doom but it was all Johnny which was kinda disappointing.

and yea it be kinda stupid to have the Skrulls now. I was hoping to see Layja(sp?) in a future movie. But oh well.

Hasbro's doing it to make money don't pay attention to them.

They come up with alot of stupid figures that have nothing to tie into the movie.

It's clear that some of you guys have not been reading recent arcs of the FF comics. The power-swapping concept was taken directly from a very successful 2004/2005 storyline wherein Johnny and Susan switch powers--and are stuck with them--for an extended series of issues.

So yes, it does have precedence in the comics.

That's all well and good, but what in saying is; Fox has now used the concept on film, so if they ever DO attempt a sequel with the Skrulls, Super-Skrull is obsolete in the eyes of a mainstream audience.

Oh i agree. That's way too big of a storyline for Fox to attempt. Stick to Puppet Master, or Black Panther.

Have you ever seen Ultimate Avengers 2? It's an animated movie, but it gives a great perspective on how cool the Panther and his country could be in a live action movie. (although they changed his comic book costume a bit, for reasons unknown)...

No I haven't, but like I said......I'm fine with that.....as long as theres no love interest with Sue.....

But honestly I think its going to be the PM with another villain.



Julian has one movie on his Fox contract, so I wouldn't rule out Doom again either....maybe Moleman......that creepy dude Sherman could come back as the Moleman or something....damn he gave me the hebbie jebbies....

...I can see 20th Century FOX making the above Fantastic heroine his Wakandan Queen a MILE away--in a totally Namor way (except, Susan will actually do the damn thing with T'Challa, because FOX is all about pissing the faithful off--See Wolverine and Jean's tryst on a bed in X3).

This thread is a waste...I doubt anybody wants to open the can of worms that Super Skrull would bring. For example, there is a pretty darn extensive back-story to how the Super Skrull came about...do you really think there's enough will to flesh all of this out?
