Now that I have completed a post-Endgame binge watch and finally seen Capt Marvel this weekend, here is my updated ranking.

Near perfect for genre
1 Infinity War ( a nearly flawless masterpiece)
2 Endgame
3 Avengers 1
4 Iron Man 1

Great - any problem is minor nit pick
5 Thor 1
6 Capt America: TFA
7 GotG 1
8 Capt America: TWS

Very Good - with problems, usually pacing
9 Capt America: CW
10 Spiderman: Homecoming
11 Ant Man
12 Age of Ultron
13 Thor Ragnarok

Good - larger problems but very enjoyable

15 Ant Man and the Wasp
16 Iron Man 3

Initially unimpressed but gets better each viewing and will likely raise in my esteem as the character grows (like Thor 1 did for me).

OK - some good moments and adds to mythos

1. Avengers 1- just watched it again, and I still think it’s the best superhero movie of all time. The action was choreographed well and everyone got their moment to shine.

The above are my standouts, all the other movies just kind of run together. I liked the ending of endgame, but the movie itself is rather forgettable.. Forgive me, I’m a Hulk fan and as much as I try to get over it, that really clouds my judgement of infinity war and endgame and the Russo’s in general as well as Mcfelly and Markus. If I never see them associated with anything the hulk is in again that would be fine by me. And yes, I know they did civil war and winter soldier as well.. They are just not as good with the Hulk imo.

So question, has anyone revisited Iron Man 2 recently? I see it very low on people's lists which I get because I too found the film very underwhelming after Iron Man 1. However rewatching it now knowing the Marvel formula it actually has risen on my list because while it still has flaws it actually shares more in common with the general structure and qualities of your average MCU flick.

Yeah, I've watched IM2 recently. It mainly ranks so low on my list because Tony and Pepper, while charming in the first IM, were grating as hell for most of that movie, imo. And Ivan and Black Widow were uninteresting duds in that film (BW at least got a chance to improve in later films). It certainly has its entertaining moments, but it remains one of the MCU's weakest efforts, imo.
