Thats where schumacher got much of his influence. I would think. I always was annoyed at the duality of the batman franchise itself... hopefully it can stay on the tracks this time. That stuf i prefer as cartoons like TAS.

It's from All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder, by Frank Miller and Jim Lee. It's the same artist as Hush, so I can see why you'd mistake it for that.

And yes, that's exactly how it appeard in the comic, and that's not the worst of what's to be seen.
