This is the book that got me back into X-Men comics for good. I had stopped for about 5 years, and complettely lost interest. This issue gave me a new perspective on Iceman's powers, and how powerful he became. This took place before the whole "Emma" thing... Until the writers after this got a hold of him

What's your first/re-issued book?

I wasnt really much of a comic fan growing up. I fell in love with the X-men through TAS, and would pick up a book here and there at the bookstore if it looked interesting but it wasnt till X-men 70, that I got hooked and started collecting. Loved the art and loved the story. It was Joe Kelly's first issue and he is by far my favorite X-men writer ever

^ That'd be the same for me. I loved Cecilia, Marrow and Maggott.

I'm a huge Buffy freak, so I'll follow Whedon into just about anything, including the depths of hell if he made it enticing enough. Also, it was the summer just after X2 came out and I decided that I wanted to get back into comics since I had read them rather sporadically in my youth. I figured this was a rather win/win situation since it put two of my favorite things together, and I haven't really looked back since.

It was Uncanny X-men 453. I was really counfused at first, but it had great art, Storm, Nightcrawler, Rachel Grey, Wolverine, Emma, and Bishop in it, so it was the shint. Also, it had the Hellfire club, with sunspot and sage. Kool characters all around, i was for it.

X-Men #1

free poster... free sticker Album and Stickers... what more could you ask for?

X-Men #171 and Uncanny X-Men #462 were the first ones I bought, but what really got me into X-Men (and comics in general) was the first Ultimate X-Men trade.

Shout out to J.R.J.R. This was a solid team and a great turn for the Brand. Mark Silvestri and the Image founders did some great memorable work before starting Imange.

These were actually the very first X-Men comics I've ever owned... Then two months later, a close friend of mine swindled me out of them for cheap. Little did I know they would be worth something today.

My first X-Men comic was Astonishing X-Men #1. I was a diehard fan of the 90s X-Men animated series, and the films, and this seemed like a good place to start.

I started because of the 90's Cartoon, but my first comic book was X-Men 7, I never left :D

Uncanny 241 Got me started. Until around 350. Then I stared back with Uncanny BoA arc. Then traced my way backwards for what I missed.

My interest started when the animated series came out, I first bought the comics based from it and got hooked to the regular series when Age Of Apocalypse started! Since then I've been hooked!

My first X-Men comic was an issue of X-Men: The Early Years. The issue that got me back in was the first issue of Phoenix: Endsong. I stopped reading when Morrison came on and everything went topsy-turvy. Nowadays I like a lot of what he did but at the time I didn't.

First comic i bought was Uncanny X-Men 200. The Trial of Magneto, been reading ever since.

I've only been seriously into the X-Men for the last five or six years... about the time X1 was released. I'm mostly interested in the Ultimate X-Men issues.

Uncanny #32...

Don't ya just love that Professor X head over the logo? Looks like he's got the mother of all headaches!

As an adult getting back into comics, my first X-Men was All-New, All-Different #102. Stuck with it until Claremont left. When I saw the first X-men movie I got curious about the comic again & found Uncanny 386--
Chris Claremont again and Lee Forrester (one of my favorite supporting characters). Even tho CC has been off and on and off again, I'm still reading.

X FACTOR 92 was my firs X comic.Fatal atractions is a great arc.

They should so do holograms on the covers again sometime :D

Since Carey's been on board since 188, I've added X-Men to my subscription, I hadn't read it for a while before that.

I still have all of those with the holoraphic covers in my collection.

I even have the ultra rare black and white version of Wolverine #25 (Fatal Attractions) with a color hologram. The comic book store I went to always scored on the rare and ultra-rare covers. Unfortunately, I've moved since then, but every now and then I'll stop by the shop.

Uncanny X-Men #1. Yesterday I found and now I can't get enough of the X. I threw it away though. It had a dig in the top right corner. Its obviously worth nothing.

X-men # 39. That was right before the whole Age of Apocolypse thing.

What drew me to the x-men was actually the relationship between Jean Grey and Cyclops. At the time, I was 12 years old and my parents were divorcing. I guess the thought of a 30 year sustained relationship appealed to me at that time.
