Somewhat hinted at unlockables. But he was evasive. Hoping for some surprises on the charity stream on Wed.

So, X-box and Nintendo seem to be indicating a release of 3/26. It's odd, because I am only seeing 3 skins for the game on the e-shop. Could be a surprise for the last stream.

Also, some more images have been found on the main site for potential new characters or skins.

I'd pull the trigger on the season pass without a 2nd thought, if they'd make Wolzard (Koragg) a DLC character.

So, release date is 3/26 for Switch and Xbox. 4/2 for PS4.

Also, it seems like it will be 15 in the base roster, as someone with connections to nway mentioned that a blue, purple, and silver ranger will also be in it, in addition to the other two that leaked.

Tad annoyed with how they handled the pre-order stuff. No mention that you had to pre-order through them for the green ranger skin. Oh well. I can live.

It looks like the season pass itself is only $15, which is quite fair for 3 characters.

I just hope the small base roster is mainly due to them clearly pushing the date up to avoid MK 11. And that it does eventually become 15 base.

Good news, I got the Green Ranger V2 skin with the deluxe edition. Haven't had much time to mess with it, but the little I did really gave me a good feeling about it. It is much more intuitive to me than BBTAG.

Still not available for Pre-order on the EU PSN Store...

They seem to have given up on that, so you can get the V2 skin if you buy the game within a week of it being up in the store.

I think we were originally going to get 15 in the base roster. As we are getting a free update with 3 new fighters. This is NOT season 1.


I suspected Black Dragon Trini, based on the background art. Interesting choice for Blue Ranger, I suspect a movie Billy skin is in the works. Based on what we know, I suspect another free update, with Timeforce Pink and Zeo Gold plus another option will be coming.

Still curious about Season 1.

And playing the game, I think I found a good core of two characters. Gia and Goldar are very much my jam, and has allowed me to beat arcade mode.

So, I got it on launch, and I have to say I enjoy it a lot. I love how you can experiment and string different hits together. I actually caved and bought the Collector's Edition. ='D

Yeah, just playing around in training mode to figure out combos is fun. I am in particular enjoying playing around with Gia. And it is just fun to watch as well.

We are getting a patch to fix the online low block bug. It may or may not have a balance patch with it as well, as the designers mentioned a balance patch was coming. Toning down some of the chip damage.

thata cant eventually be the base roster bc it didnt launch with 15. Everything post-launch is now DLC territory..

From what Ive read, the fighting mechanics are decent but the content is pretty light and pathetic.Too bad it doesnt have a bigger budget bc it would have benefited from releasing in the summer or even next year. This could have been a bigger celebration of PR than it is

I consider the free DLC as part of the base, since they will be for people who buy the game later. Guessing I am willing to wait for the rest of the game to come out, because what we have is still pretty fun. I may even get Nintendo Online to play it online, once they block bug is fixed.

As for the release date, it makes sense to me. Push it out further to avoid MK, you run into Samurai Showdown, which we just got a release date for. Plus, who knows what Capcom has behind the scenes, as they have been awfully quite about SFV or any fighting game product for a while.

Patch is out for Switch and Xbox. Fixes the block bug and a few other issues with some characters getting soft locked. Also took out a few of the infinite loops.

Videos of the free characters. Also, confirmation that voice acting is coming. So, I imagine the game will continue to get more updates to make it feel complete. I'm still enjoying it. I even went online.

New stages are nice, though now I have to wait for the SPD rep. And I really want some of the characters in the trailer in the game.

I really want to know why Golden Week affects them being able to release it for Switch. Since it shouldn't be releasing in Japan.

Woo, the update is live for Switch. Time to play Ranger Slayer training mode, aka Story Mode.

Still, kind of excited, as the story has strongly suggested some possible new characters.

So excited. And it looks to be a massive patch, doing a lot with the game. Crossplay is going to be enabled, though it looks like it may be not automatic. Can't wait to play Jen.
