Makeup - Hellboy 2

Music (Score) - Slumdog Millionaire

Music (Song) - Jai Ho

Best Picture - Slumdog Millionaire

Visual Effects - Iron Man

Writing (Adapted Screenplay) - Slumdog Millionaire

Writing (Original Screenplay) - In Bruges

That black dust guy screwed up the poll here as well, I hate it when people knowingly do crap like that on polls.

Make Up - The Dark Knight

Visual Effects - Iron Man

I'm pissed that Slumdog will take all the awards! The movie is good, above the average but it's so overrated! Button must win all

I'm thinking the exact opposite: I'm pissed that Button will take them all, the movie is good but it's so overrated, Slumdog is far better (but not extraordinary)!:woot::woot:

I'm not even gonna watch.

I honestly don't know how Button got 13 nominations. I liked the movie but didn't know the academy liked it that much!

If you like it or not, its not suprising. It has all that technical nomination. Deserving for most of them.

I really really enjoyed Benjamin Button. But I more I sat back and thought about it, the more I noticed the parallels with Forrest Gump, and that takes away from my enjoyment. i still like it, but I'm hoping it doesn't win. That said, I'm really hoping Slumdog Millionaire wins.

Screenplay Adapted will go to Slumdog and Original will go to Milk. Visual effects will go to Benjamin Button, unless The Dark Knight pulls a surprising upset. Makeup will go to Benjamin Button, unless, again, The Dark Knight pulls an upset which I think is highly possible. Ben Button and The Dark Knight both have 50/50 chances in this category. The Music category is up in the air for me, I thought both Wall-E's score and Milk's (which makes me sad because I'm a huge Danny Elfman fan) are both very unimpressive. Especially Wall-E's, though. I think it'll either go to Slumdog or Benjamin Button. The song I think will go to Jai Ho since that's the only song that was nominated that doesn't suck.

You must lead a very mundane life to be just narked at then then.

I can tell that original score is going to annoy the hell out of me this year.

We've got greats like Danny Elfman (Milk), James Newton Howard (Defiance), and Thomas Newman (WALL-E) nominated -- all who have had long, awesome careers with tons of memorable scores and not an Oscar win between them, yet some nobody who no one has ever heard of is probably going to win for Slumdog Millionaire, even though the score was mediocre and forgettable. Damn Academy.

Makeup - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Music (Score) - Slumdog Millionaire

dont' worry, that guy voted for all the options, so, technically, his votes is mute since it kinda cancels it self out

I think Button and Millionare are both far, far, far better than the vast majority of films that get nominated for best picture...not that it's saying much.

This is how I hope wins the Oscars:

Makeup - Hellboy 2, imo far more impressive than the other two movies in makeup.

Music (Score) - Slumdog Millionaire

Music (Song) - Jai Ho, its sucks that these are the only 3 songs in this category. but jai ho is the best of the 3.

Best Picture - Slumdog Millionaire, I've only watched Benjamin Button and Slumdog Millionaire only, so from the two, Slumdog wins.

Visual Effects - Iron Man, don't know why TDK and Bejamin Button was nominated for this but Iron Man tops them both, IMO.

Writing (Adapted Screenplay) - Slumdog Millionaire

Writing (Original Screenplay) - In Bruges, I liked this movie and I hope it wins this one.
