Keep in mind that it's a 4 part Pre-quel series. They have enough time to develop the story. I just hope they have a direct link with the films comic book, if there are plans for one.

Wait a minute. Now that the movie comes out on Tuesday, does that mean the hardcore fans won't get to see how the abbsence wrapped up until after they see the movie?

i don't know why they just don't release all 4 issues at the same time (in a collection.) There's no way I'm going to go to the comic book store 4 weeks in a row.... just not going to happen. I'll buy one then be done. DC/WB loses the money.

I have always felt they should have shown Superman on Earth in the beginning of the film, and then making the decision to leave. Thats just me though...

I bought it today. I have it in my hands right now. It's basically a long recap of the beginning of STM when they put Kal on the ship and send him to earth. Pretty cool visuals that immediately remind you of STM.

So the film IS a continuation of the Donner film, not some vague history BS. This is just further proof.

Its basically just the opening scene of S:TM. Art is good, but nothing new. It basically means Returns is a sequel to the ****ty originals.

What can the comic ruin, it's taking right from Superman: The Movie.
