I cannot understand why this prequel has been called "The Thing". Could they really not think of something new or original? With all the talk of how loyal it is to the first film and how well it connects to it you would think they would have a different name, just for the sake of clarity if nothing else. Just imagine the DVD/Blu Ray box set - "The Thing and The Thing".
